The staff were very nice and efficient. However, the food was under seasoned. It was like the steamed the cranberry legs corn and potato then at the end sprinkled some old bay. There was no flavor on any thing. My fiancé ordered the snapper it was friend well but no seasoning, the squash were sprinkled with old bay along with the potato's.

It takes forever to get your food, it was not very busy. The pictures of the food online is false advertising

Great service - very friendly. Ambience was disappointing and smelled like a college bar. Menu was very casual.

Food good but verify your bill. We were party of six so there was an added surcharge, which is fine. Our final bill did not include the details but did include the “suggested tip.” Our usual practice is to tip 20% not 38-40. VERY DECEPTIVE!

The food was really good! It was quiet in the restaurant and tables were a good distance from other diners. Would have loved to sit outside of the weather would have cooperated!

I made a reservation for Saturday evening and we arrived a few minutes before our scheduled time. The hostess informed us that they do not actually accept reservations on the weekend. She was able to seat us immediately so the situation was resolved satisfactorily. My suggestion is that an adjustment be made on Open Table to reflect that this restaurant does not take reservations on the weekend.

As much as I would like to write about the experience I had at Fiddler's, I'm not going to until I go again without the commotion of a big event like St Paddys. I will say the only thing good about this experience were the shrimp and grits.

Sat at the bar with wife for >10 mins looked at beer list (no prices), put the list down. Bartenders, PLURAL, walked by us 4 times making sure not to make eye contact. We left. Even had servers waiting on drinks for their tables.

The location is great on river street. Great views of the river and ships and not loud. We were seated very quickly at the table of our choosing.

The food was probably average. Had the crab stuffed flounder which was pretty good and juicy, sides were ok. Our other guests had the crab cake sandwich with fries, which were both cold. Also had clam chowder and a salad, the chowder had too many large potato pieces to make it worth it. The oysters Rockefeller were actually very good though.

The food was great. The service was subpar, the server wasn't attentive. She forgot his food and was acting as if it wasn't a big deal. Both meals should've come out at the same time. I didn't mind sharing mine with him but she would've known it if she was attentive. The oysters were the appetizers.

STAY AWAY. So many better restaurants in area. Should have known when we had no problem finding a table at 6pm on a Saturday facing the river. We were seated at 6pm but saw no food until 6 50pm. Very slow service. Oysters had odor. I had the chicken and 10 minutes after we left had stomach cramps and diarrhea. Was sick the rest of night. Avoid like yellow fever...

Me and girlfriend came from Charleston to Savannah to take in the sights and sounds of Savannah. We choose to go into Fiddler's Crab House & Oyster, we decided to order Oyster Rockefeller with fries and flounder. The oyster Rockefeller was need baked enough and it also had dead fiddler crabs inside of the Oyster Rockefeller cover by cheese... could cause someone who was allergic to crab to become sick 🤢🤢..Our visit wasn't a wonderful time.
