Very festive atmosphere. The service was excellent I ordered the frittata and also the chicken sausage and both were excellent and my dining companion ordered the avocado toast with strawberries and balsamic glaze and she said it was fantastic
The food was mediocre at best, and extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Service was friendly, but could not make up for the food deficiency.
Dreadful. Delayed seating. Open cooking fire filled the dining room with noxious fumes, which dissipated after 30 minutes. Had to look at unbussed table for at least 30 minutes, with dirty glasses and dishes. Unfortunately for us, other diners included two ten-tops with loud, disruptive patrons.
We stay at the Thompson primarily because of this restaurant. By far the best execution of food in Savannah.
My husband and I travelled to Savannah for the weekend and I had made reservations ahead for Fleeting. When we arrived we chose to sit at the open kitchen bar area. The chef Alex was amazing to watch! His mastery of the wood burning oven/grill was awe inspiring. I had a lovely pork chop but wish I had chosen the steak. I highly recommend Fleeting if you like the open kitchen concept of if you just like a fine meal in a lovely but relaxed setting.
We had a group celebrating a birthday and it worked well for that. The food was delicious. The only shortcoming was that there was only a guitar player and we had expected more for a Jazz brunch. We had expected more though he was quite good.
Went for our anniversary and it was maybe the best restaurant experience we've had in Savannah

The food was tasty but stifled by a skimpy menu. Service crawled at a glacial pace; we arrived at 7:45 PM to a half-empty dining room, yet our appetizer didn't show until 8:55 PM—and it was the wrong dish. Servers drifted by, barely noticing us, their interactions dripping with rehearsed, hollow charm, like they'd memorized lines from a bad restaurant reality show. Stellar food might salvage such lackluster service, but this meal didn't rise to the challenge.
Great service great food. The steaks were good a little bit overcooked as compared to as ordered. The custom salad routine written on a paper is a great idea overall it was an enjoyable dinner.
First entree ever that was overcooked/tough. Edible pork chop. This is my favorite restaurant so I am certain they will fix whatever the issue was immediately. Will not hold it against them bc I love their food!

Our server Maria was awesome! The restaurant was exquisite. Excellent decor, modern flare and food/drinks were made fresh. We loved the start of our girls trip by spending time at the marvelous Fleeting restaurant.
...it was very good but I feel like maybe the chef or key line cooks left it just seems like a different restaurant completely

Chic, upbeat downstairs restaurant. We went to hear the jazz guitarist, Bill Smith, while enjoying Sunday brunch with friends.

We were excited to try a new restaurant, and Fleeting sounded interesting. The ambiance was fantastic - beautiful hotel, bar area and restaurant. Hostess and server were kind and swift. The experience went off the rails when the server informed us that they were out of two of the entrees, (lamb chops and the pasta dish). Mind you, there are only 6-7'ish entrees in total on the menu and none of the other options sounded appealing; therefore, we decided to have a cocktail, then go to another restaurant. Strike three was when they were out of Pino Gris...so we ordered a chardonnay and an old fashioned, both were good. It was an unfortunate experience, particularly given it was only 6 PM and the restaurant only had a half dozen tables filled. Note to Fleeting, when you have such a small menu, you should ensure that you have all the ingredients to make everything on the menu (I have been in the restaurant business and there are no excuses for this).
Everything was excellent. While the musician was wonderful playing easy listening guitar, we were disappointed as this was advertised as a “jazz brunch” which we were looking forward to.
