A Savannah classic, been here many many years and never has failed to be just outstanding! The dinner special, shrimp wrapped scallops with salman was just delicious, They have changed the decore several times over the years but it is the best now. Reccommend seating on first floor but that maybe just my preferrence. Only complaint it was pricey but I guess all good resturance in Savannah are pricey.
I highly highly highly recommend this establishment!! In a nutshell, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic!! There was no part of our experience that was worth less than 5 stars! We arrived about 8 minutes prior to our reservation and were immediately seated at the perfect table next to a window. Within moments we were greeted by the waiter who promptly retrieved our ordered cocktails and breads which were made perfectly. The food arrived in a respectable time frame and was absolutely delicious!! It had perfect flavors and was prepared exactly as it should've been. The service provided by our waiter was by far the best we experienced in Savannah (I wish i could remember his name for this review) and possibly in the United States. The atmosphere as well as the restaurant overall was beautiful and perfectly decorated in such a way that made you feel at home but in a luxury restaurant at the same time.

The atmosphere here is super nice — very cozy and relaxing. You can’t just walk in, though; you’ll need a reservation. If you want a seat by the window, definitely reserve ahead because that area looked like the best spot! It gave me a little Italy vibe — calm, stylish, and chill.
Our server, Abby, was amazing. Seriously one of the best! She was so friendly and attentive, always checking to make sure everything was okay.
Now, about the food — I was excited because I finally found a dish I’ve been looking for since another restaurant stopped serving it. Sadly, it didn’t live up to my expectations. It was way too buttery, and the noodles were kind of overcooked and soggy. My husband didn't like his food too , (veil ) he said it's too buttery aswell. The crab soup and calamari were really good, though!
Overall, the place itself is beautiful, and the service was excellent, but the food wasn’t for me. Would I eat there again? Probably not for the food — but I’d definitely go back for the great service and chill

Honestly, not as good as past experiences. Was truly desiring a great culinary experience. This evening was not close. My food was not hot, in fact just over warm. No preheated plates. My wife had the redfish special and she had maybe 3 good bites of fish and the rest was a crab stuffing that she could not eat. We both had asparagus as the side and it was served the size of a cigar! Hard and stringy. My grandson's meal was top shelf for him. And glad it was as it was his birthday. Too many places in this town to have to settle for avg food.
Nice restaurant, nice ambiance, but noisy which was OK. Waitress was nice and food was good. Reason for 3-star rating is it took about an hour after appetizers came to get our meal. Asked for a double asparagus instead of risotto, but did not look like it. Manager got some more which was appreciated. By time dinner came, we just wanted to move on.
We returned to garibaldi's recently to celebrate our anniversary, after eating here on a date over 36 yrs ago. The restaurant was still top notch with a charming southern decor. The food was excellent - poached pear salad and filet & lobster were flavorful and gourmet quality. Service was exceptional! After a friendly greeting and anniversay wishes, we were promptly seated and served champagne to kick off dinner. Still impressed after all of these years!

We always dine here when in town, never disappointed. Our server, Drew, was very pleasant and most helpful. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
Garibaldi's is a two-story restaurant near City Market. We had the Crispy Calamari for an appetizer with bread. My entree was the Veal Milanese and my mom had the Lobster Rabini. Delicious.

Service was great. Food for cost was horrible. Steak was a bad cut and a lot of fat. Wife had special it was room temperature and had hair in the food cooked into it.
Bobby, Bobby Bobby... you are excellent and one of the best servers we had around the World. Thank you for making our experience there unforgettable for our anniversary celebration. We are impressed that you memorize down to the T for every ingredient/description for the specials. You were one of the best for real... around the world and we thank you for the great night with you.

Five nights here and apparently we left the best for last. Amazing dinner and ambiance. We were seated downstairs which definitely has a different vibe from upstairs. We didn't know either and it's just where we were seated which I think I would have preferred but just what we got. Either would be lovely. Our server, Cara was amazing. Attentive, sweet and professional. My husband had the duck which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had the veal milenese which was delicious. Cheesecake was also very good. Can't say enough about our dinner here .... you won't be disappointed! Lovely night
My wife booked this restaurant to celebrate her BIG 50 birthday. I called in advance and asked if they could perhaps welcome us with a Champagne Toast, a nice table etc.
We arrived and were promptly seated. Nice table upstairs. Our Server (Waitress) was excellent, really knowledgeable. No Birthday Champagne was offered (ok no biggie).
Food, Drinks were excellent.
The couple next to us also celebrated a birthday and received a complimentary Creme Brulee with a Candle.
We were offered a desert menu, but no complimentary item or drink. This is ok with me, but the fact that the couple got a freebie next to us and we did not bothered me a little.
I get that restaurants have to safe every penny, but our bill ended up being $ 385 and I tipped $ 115 (all cash). A nice place in Savannah, but we will not repeat.
