Food was very average. Seafood was not particularly fresh or local. Pasta was cooked properly but sauce was bland.
Huge selection on the menu. She crab soup, mussels, and lobster were great but we enjoyed all of the many dishes we ordered. Cocktails were good too. Bobby was an excellent efficient waiter.
Went there to celebrate husband and my sister in laws birthday. The dining experience was exactly what you would want it to be. Very attentive server, delicious food, good drinks! Did not feel rushed at all. Loved it!
We were seated early, had a wonderful server in Bobby, and the food was great as usual. The scored flounder could have used a little more sauce but everyone enjoyed their meal.
Garibaldi is simply the best. The venue, the service, the food are all outstanding. We live in Savannah and go there for any of our special occasions. Our most recent visit we encountered Bobby as our server. He was simply amazing. So knowledgeable, accommodating and engaging.
A Magical Reception at Garibaldi – Truly Unforgettable! We hosted our daughter’s wedding reception at Garibaldi in Savannah, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The evening was filled with elegance, warmth, and exceptional service that we will never forget. The passed appetizers were creative, delicious, and beautifully presented—our guests are still raving about them! Dinner was phenomenal, with every plate served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The drinks were flowing all night thanks to the private bar, which gave the reception such an exclusive, intimate feel. While the dance floor was small, it added to the charm and brought everyone together in the best way—it felt personal and joyful rather than over-the-top. The room itself is breathtaking, and somehow it only became more stunning as the night went on. The lighting, the architecture, the ambiance—it all created this romantic, glowing atmosphere that was the perfect backdrop to such a special celebration. The staff was flawless—attentive, professional, and always one step ahead. They made sure every guest felt cared for, and we felt completely at ease knowing they had everything under control. Garibaldi was more than just a venue—it was part of the magic. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our daughter’s big day. Five stars all the way!
Excellent food and service by Arnold, true professional.

Everything was fantastic start to finish. I love the atmosphere and the building is beautiful.
The atmosphere was the best part of this restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The food was just bland. There were great dishes on the menu, but again, they did not live up to the hype. This is unfortunate. Maybe they had a bad night. I will definitely try it again just because. The waiter was really good.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our 5th wedding Anniversary, our server Olivia was amazing, knowledgeable, and had great suggestions. We had a beautifully cooked steak Diane over mushroom risotto and haricot vert, and also a wonderfully made veal chop over mushroom risotto. We were greeted by the management, and even the great chef Gerald came out to see how we enjoyed our meal and time. All that said, we highly recommend the steak Diane, veal chop, shrimp risotto cake, praline berry basket, and the Garibaldi Hemingway and PB and J martini.

Intimate setting with a menu that leans into the local cuisine, with an added Italian twist. The bartender was attentive. Our server, Bobby, explained everything in detail and answered all questions we had. His expertise and charm had us wanting to stay longer. The manager, Charlie, was so welcoming and gave us such a welcome, ensured we were enjoying ourselves and gave us a laugh. Hostess City of the South is embodied in this establishment.
