The staff was very nice and the inside clean and nice to be in.
I got the chicken biscuit and it just didn’t taste very good. Something was off, maybe burnt oil, it really tasted like old gas station chicken to me. Biscuit was good but hard to get past the weird chicken flavor.
I think I would go back again to try something else off their menu.

The food was unique, soulful and delicious!!! And the service was even better! Was a nice accidental discovery before we headed home from our trip.
I ordered something that I wouldn't normally eat which was a chicken biscuit. It's the best chicken biscuit in Savannah. No doubt. Very large, crispy, tender chicken and delicious. I recommend 2 people sharing. Buttery flavored biscuit. It's a win win. I also had the Sunny G. Refreshing and delicious. The only thing I didn't like about the drink was the price. It was close to $5. I tried the drink, yes it's good but no, wayyyy too much to spend on such a small size.

We normally love this spot and have had many great meals here! But: I ordered the Avocado Smash yesterday and this is what I got. The way they originally prepared it was much better- The bread wasn’t toasted either. I’m aware they modified it from scrambled to hard boiled and don’t mention the bacon parsnips, but this was shocking after how beautiful my last avocado smash was. Something went wrong here. :(
Food has been getting less appealing looking g since I stared. The biscuits and gravy is just thrown in the box, I also asked for no sauce and they added sauce

Absolutely LOVED our lunch. We got breakfast and veggie burritos along with a soft drink, Vietnamese coffee, and beignets. Not cheap, it was $50 for the two of us.
Both meal were 100% winner winner, chicken dinner delicious. Big bold well balanced exciting flavors. Unique combos that worked really well.
The breakfast burrito had their magnificent tatter tots and friend chicken. It was not a light meal, it was big heavy and so so declicous. The veggie burrito was memorable in that it was not an afterthought but legit wonderful flavor.
The Vietnamese coffee was one of a kind. Do yourself a favor and get that coffee, its fantastic.
Service was friendly and quick. The overall vibe is nice, cool decor but nothing overwhelming. Its a small sit down dining area.
Thrilled to have Goody's as a go-to!

Second time visiting here and truly enjoyed my experience. The staff was friendly, really good atmosphere. The sandwich was absolutely delightful. The 32nd street was good and so was the melting sandwich.

Update: The sandwich did not only take about 15-20 minutes, but it was also pretty toasty and oily. All I could taste was oil, I honestly did not finish it. Orange juice was more like “Acid G” instead of “Sunny G”

The Goodys team kept up with a super busy crowd. Best sandwich I’ve had in years and I hardly had to wait! OJ was refreshing and delicious

Waited for 20 minutes or more for an over priced sandwich. Do not get the avocado toast, egg was very runny and you could barely see the avocado
Small place that’s big on taste! We had the chicken biscuit (so big I only ate half of it), the tater tots covered in eggs, sausage gravy, special sauce which is fantastic. The beignets were so good my husband said next time he will just eat beignets and coffee. The breakfast burrito was good too. On the down side, no decaf coffee and I don’t think they offer hot tea. We will be back soon!

Good chicken, bad everything else.
Ordered: Two breakfast sandwiches (one chicken, one sausage/egg/cheese), beignets, a Vietnamese iced coffee, and tots (not on purpose, though—see below). $41
The good: Fried chicken was well-seasoned, well cooked, and generously portioned.
The bad:
Biscuits (on both sandwiches) were cold and flavorless. In Savannah, biscuits should be a strength, not a weakness.
Sausage was greasy and inedible—I couldn’t get through a bite.
Beignets were dense and slightly sour, not pillowy.
Vietnamese iced coffee tasted like plain iced coffee.
Tots were cold and an undisclosed upsell: $2.95 for about 10 pieces, added as if they came with the sandwich.
Takeaways: 1. The chicken deserves better partners on the plate. 2. At a neighborhood spot, I expect transparency, and the hidden upsell is a violation.
