When we initially went in, we were told that it would be an hour and 15 minute wait. We came back after that time had gone by, and we were told that a table was still unavailable. The hostess up front was pretty rude while telling us though, she didn’t even look up to speak to us and had a nasty tone. We only stayed because we waited so long and other restaurants nearby were crowded. The food was really good but it was a bit cold as if it had been sitting out a while....
Delightful light lunch spot in historic former apothecary on Bull St. Excellent service complete with a history lesson about the building! I had the chevre salad, my husband had the sesame tuna salad ( generous servings!) , and we had the scones of the day. I’d like to go back to try the afternoon tea!
Popped in for a small bite. I ordered french toast (absolutely delicious) while my wife had soup of the day (roasted buttermilk squash) and chef's mix tea sandwiches. Also very good.
