The food was very tasteless. The sushi was great but our actual plates of food were bland. My friend got the teriyaki chicken with rice and so did my grandson. There wasn't a glaze on the chicken as with normal teriyaki and it wasn't very good at all. I ordered the steak and shrimp and there wasn't even a flavor of salt and/or pepper on them. The rice in all our dishes was sticky and flavorless as well. But on the good side of the food was the sushi. I ordered the mermaid and there California roll. Both of those were amazing. The sauces for them were to heavy on the Mayo though

The food and service are always great...

Not only is the food awesome but the employees are incredibly honest. I left my day planner there with all my rent money in it and when I returned the next day they had it waiting for me untouched. So grateful.

Small and very clean non chain restaurant, which makes it 10000 times better, not to mention the food is lean and delicious. Also staff is very nice and kind. Coming back for sure!

Mom and pop place. It was really good!

This is the best sushi in Savannah. Locally owned and operated. They only serve freshly made food. Try original Chinese dishes as well. You will not be disappointed.

Love the teriyaki chicken, steak or shrimp. A lot of other menu items I haven't tried. Eat in or take out. I need to go here more often!

Small and cozy! I felt at home. Ordered the Tiger roll as well as Udon noodles with chicken. The food had great flavor balance and their sushi was some of the best that I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back soon!

I love going here when in town. Owners are quite pleasant and I love their chirashi. What I always order.

Very good sushi. Got two rolls both very tasty. Appears to be a mom and pop type place. Not very busy inside but phone was ringing , they probably do more to go orders. They also have other items on menu but only had a taste for sushi . Would go again if in area

The Best Teriyaki, Chinese and Sushi dishes around. This is a local gem for great food! I love this place!

Excellent small menu for sushi (luv their Alligator roll!) Good teriyakis, including salmon& steak. Forget the full meal, the little salad not worth the $6.95-iceberg greens&ginger dressing, that's it. Good steak, grilled salmon.Small, cozy place, Chinese owned, good sushi!!

First time coming here. Owner is really nice. He came over to talk to us a few times during our visit here. The food was really good and came out hot and fast. Recommend for anyone who wants a good plate of noodles!

Really canâ??t say too much about the ambiance here but the food is consistently GOOD and always keeps us coming back. Always fresh and large portions including a salad with wonderful ginger dressing. Very easy to get to and quick in and out. I highly recommend trying this place if you have not been. Just north of Oglethorpe Mall on Abercrombie.

This is a cute mom and pop kind of restaurant that I was recommended by another store in Savannah. Since I came here for the first time a few months ago, I haven't been able to stop coming back. (Even though I've moved much farther away since.) Their Yakiniku Steak is my favorite thing on the menu, but everything here is very fresh and delicious. I even like the grilled veggies that come with the plate, which is saying something for me. Everyone who works here is really nice, and the restaurant is usually a quiet and relaxing lunch spot. The food is also excellently priced for Japanese food, (which I eat quite a lot of) and I'm always happy after eating here.

Best stir fry in town. Most place food looks deep fry with full of oil. Not here, fresh veg with tender meat. Feel health and Satisfied when you leave here.

This is a nice "hole in the wall". The owners appear to also be the cooks. I was initially skeptical based on the appearance of the restaurant but I suppose one should not "judge a book by its cover". The food was very good. The sushi was fresh and professionally prepared. The goyoza was wonderful. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

I am not sure why Savannah cannot muster up better Asian restaurants than it has, but I continue to be very disappointed here--from sushi to Thai to Chinese. The sushi, in this case, was only barely passable, lacking flavor, and while fresh enough to be safe to consume, not fresh enough to be tasty it seemed. The staff, which seemed to consist of the owner and his wife when I caught them early into the dinner hour, were nice enough but but seemed nearly mechanical in their actions, only interested in their work because such was their duty. I ordered several sushi rolls and the owner/waiter returned shortly to inform me they were out of yellowtail and to pick something else, which I did, but I wanted my yellowtail and that's a pretty standard fish to have on hand at any sushi bar. Again, the sushi at best was just unremarkable. The interior of the restaurant looks as if it has seen better days, too. They seem to have a decently diverse menu and maybe when it picks up later in the evening with more customers, they place seems lively, homey, I don't know--maybe the gyoza is really good as other reviewers have claimed, but I found my sushi very lackluster.

Yuck! Pass on this. Used to go here regularly years ago when I lived in Savannah and it was great. No longer true unfortunately although one of the original owners is still there. The food quality is POOR! They used to take pride in their products but now the shrimp were tasteless and like rubber. The vegetables weren't fresh tasting and what can you possibly do with chicken to make it untasty.

Been coming here for years and years best food and staff in town. Get gyoza and tempura philly roll. Tell em sghettti sent ya. Dont believe the place has roaches, I come here because its so clean.

Pretty good place to get a quick bite to eat. This place has some pretty decent cold sake. The owners are friendly and it is almost never crowded.

My wife and I love this place. Excellent service, excellent sushi, and excellent entrées. All for a very reasonable price. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave. They are always willing to add on to sushi and throw in a free soup or salad here and there. The place seemed very clean as well, so perhaps the "roach" reviews are outdated? I urge you not to base your decision off of those, because you won't find much better sushi in Savannah.

One of my favorite places in Savannah to get sushi. The atmosphere is kind of ho-hum, but the sushi makes up for it.

Went there yesterday an I saw small roaches the I mean the little little ones I'm never going here again!
