Good Southern lunch. Near medical centers if visiting family at Memorial or Candler Hospitals. Service is efficient and friendly. Menu is online and certain foods are only offered on certain weekdays. Takeout is available and may be called in ahead.

I had a bit of a rough morning, and I was super hungry. I just wanted whatever was closest, and Google said this was it. I'm SO thankful I ended up here. The food was phenomenal. I ate way too much, and I don't regret it one bit. The house omelette and potatoes were ridiculously good, and the biscuit was one of the best I've eaten. But it wasn't just the food. Mrs. Chelsea and Mrs. Q who were working up front were super nice. (I really hope I heard their names right. If I didn't, I'm sorry!) And there was a constant stream of people who were clearly regulars coming in happy to be there and even happier once they ate. Every single thing about the place made it obvious that they care about their food and customers. If I didn't live an hour away, they would have to add me to that list of regulars. I know exactly where I'm eating next time I'm in the area.

Dawn and Chelsea crush the experience every time! Dawn treats you just like your own child. She is confident and kind, jokingly put you in your place, but all the while you know she cares about you. You feel like you are a part of the family from the moment you step foot into the door. I go as often as I am able. The food is well priced and a great value! You won’t find a better home style breakfast in Chatham County

Excellent food. I went for breakfast. Friendly staff makes you feel like a regular even if you're not.

I have not had a bad thing from this place, breakfast or lunch. I am from MS and it makes me feel like I’m home! It is decently priced, especially for what you get!

I came here for breakfast today and decided it was time to write-up a review as it was my third visit in the last two months. Holland House is the epitome of a "greasy spoon" diner/restaurant, and I mean that as a compliment in the best sense of the phrase. It is good, basic, comfort food, served efficiently by friendly staff who seem to know most of the customers. (That in itself, should serve as a solid recommendation as there apparently is quite a bit of return business.) Holland House reminds me of the restaurant in the 70s sitcom Alice (which itself was based on the earlier movie, "Alice's Doesn't Live Here Anymore." The only thing missing is Mel yelling from the kitchen. The food is basic, but very good. Just don't expect anything "froufrou" (as the waitress told me) such as almond or soy milk, lol. The only sort of strange thing you need to watch out for is that although the restaurant is open from 6am - 2pm, you will not be served any food between 10:30am - 11:00am because that is the changeover from breakfast to lunch. And if you arrive between 10-10:30, they may have already run out of a few breakfast items on the menu. So, with that caveat aside, I highly recommend Holland House for good old-fashioned comfort food.

Holland House has become our default choice for great home cook'n anytime we are near during their business hours. I have been taking my GF for infusions at Memorial Hospital, which is how we found Holland House with Google maps help. It's run by a great group of ladies, and the line is "out the door" for eat in and take out all the times we have eaten there.Parking: Private parking lot on site, although usually near capacity, we have always found a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Concrete ramp for mobility challenged clientele.

We have been going to Holland house for about two months. There is never a disappointment with the service nor food. The staff always friendly and makes you feel welcome. Dawn is so professional and caring of the customers who enter the doors. Chelsea and Katrina are also attentive to needs and wants of the customers whether dining in or take out. I love going to Holland house great atmosphere. Thanks Dawn, Chelsea and Katrina love the service you surrender on a daily basis.

Hidden Gem in Savannah. Smiling great service with a good whole breakfast. I had the Holland house special for $7. Yummy, filling and classic breakfast. Another person at the table had hash and it was great of, pancakes were good and the beltch- bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato and cheese sandwich. The skillet fried potatoes were yummy. We were thankful that they were old school and not deep frying them.

I just visited Savannah recently and Holland House was one of my favorite places for homestyle country cookin. Only downside is they're not open on the weekends, so make sure to get by there during the week

I found this little place by happenstance. So glad I did. The food and the service is awesome. I felt right at home from the first time. Now that I'm a "regular" I don't go anywhere else for breakfast. Ms. Chelsea and Ms. Dawn are the best servers ever. Don't forget to tip them, they're worth it and they deserve it.

Visiting from Ohio, we always try to eat at Mom and Pop local diners and we found Holland House online. Online said breakfast served till 11 so we show up around 10:25. Open the door to “we aren’t serving breakfast and if you want lunch you’re waiting for 40 minutes to get that”. She never said good morning, welcome NOTHING!!! Never even looked up from rolling silverware. I said “oh I’m sorry we were told you stopped serving at 11” to which she replied “Nope, don’t know where you saw that”. She was very rude and snotty. If she were my employee She would never continue to work at my place of business and certainly would not be anywhere near my customers!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR TOURISTS!!!
