Best eggs Benedict around, best beignets ever, this place is so quaint and brings back special memories for my husband and myself, we give Huey’s five ⭐️s

All the plates we had was top notch. Our waiter was the best. His name was Lamont. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed.

Well it was Tropical storm night so they did the best under the circumstances. Hurricane Helene was down further but we got the heavy winds and rain.

Had dinner here a few weeks ago and the service and food were excellent. I had the wings and the pasta jambalaya, both were amazing. I really wanted to try the Cajun chicken sandwich, will definitely add that to my list for next trip.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience with Ricky at Huey’s, I feel like I have to. I called to ask a simple question, and not only was I treated rudely, but Ricky hung up on me without even attempting to help. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially from a place that claims to have good customer service. If this is how they treat people over the phone, I can’t imagine what it’s like in person. Do better, Huey’s.

The place for shrimp and grits. Sat at the bar and enjoy the bartenders company even though they were slammed.

Very rude and disrespectful. I called to place a to go order, and the first lady hung up when i said hello , i called back to speak to a manager. Ricky picked up the phone and refused to let me speak to a manager, i asked the price for the pasta jambalaya and they hung up again. I am from Atlanta. Never go to this restaurant the staff is rude and disrespectful and will probably spit in your food. I would give 0 stars if possible

I’m not one to complain and write bad reviews, but:

My wife and I showed up at 8:25-8:30. They close at 9. The hostess was happy to seat us with menus. We decided what we wanted to eat and drink and then waited patiently for a server to come take our order. The wait staff completely refused to acknowledge our presence. At 8:45 we took the hint and decided to leave. Our menus were off of the table before we were out the door. We understood that we showed up a little late. We have been helping with the hurricane relief and that was as early as we were able to come to eat. What really frustrated me was that we were seated and then they refused to serve us. Would have been much more understanding if they had just turned us away and said they weren’t accepting new tables. We walked to Vics and were treated with respect even though we were far from dressed for such a nice restaurant. Absolutely disgraceful behavior from the wait staff.

Fairly sure we watched an employee quit and overheard three employees gossiping. Not an enjoyable experience waiting at table for slow service and mediocre food.

Overall an ok place to grab some dinner. Our server was stretched very thin but she did a lovely job. Ambiance is like a home pub, very casual with two tvs. At one point they did carry a trash can through the dining room which wasn’t great. They have outdoor sitting.

Food: I had the catfish po boy which was a bit too salty and dry for my taste. A nice tartar sauce would have been nice. The rest of the table had the crab cake sandwich (very good), red beans and rice (good) and pasta pesto with chicken (very good). My Bloody Mary was very delicious and the catfish fingers were a great starter.

Biggest sadness was not trying the beignets!
