We got there before 4 and there was someone eating at a table in the bar area. We waited for someone to seat us. The person at the bar saw us but we were ignored. No sign that they open at 4. Their web site states the hours they are open and we went by what was on the site. My tip would be to call first. We did go back. Food was good as usual

We had an amazing brunch at Huey’s on the River! We were quickly seated with a window view. Sarah S. was our server, who we can’t say enough about her! She gave great recommendations and was sweet enough to split our entrees (on her own), when we said we would likely share. The food was top notch, we shared the seafood omelette and the crawfish étouffée! Thx again Sarah, you’re a gem!

🌺 I arrived early on a weekday morning to the historic River Street stretch. Huey’s sits right on 115 E River St, and you can sense the river activity as you take your seat — boats drifting by, the city waking up. Walking in, there’s a lively but relaxed energy: a mix of locals and visitors, the smell of coffee and pastry in the air, and windows/river-view seating that make this more than just a meal — a little experience.

The breakfast food was great as well as the customer service. The prices are definitely average for the area. Our server was simply the sweetest going above and beyond for all her customers!

The vibe and views were beautiful, and the service was good overall, except for the maître d’ who took a minute to come back?? maybe she was on a break. I mainly came in because I saw a couple outside enjoying a beignet, and since I was in Louisiana just a month ago, I was definitely craving them. They were nice and hot when we got them, but unfortunately, they didn’t allow the dough to rise properly, so the inside was quite dense rather than fluffy. Still, I’d give it a B+ for effort.

One of my favorite breakfast places when I was in Savannah! I love that their hours are from 8:00AM - 9:30PM/10:00PM. A lot of comparable places opened at 9 or 10. I'm an early riser so I was looking for breakfast places around the historic district that were within walking distance of where I was staying. This fit the bill. I walked right in at 8:10 and there was no wait. I had a coffee and the Crabcake Benedict and they were phenomenal! This is right on the river and looks to be a great spot to watch container ships come in. You can check the Georgia Port Authority and find the schedule of when bigger ships are coming in if you do want to enjoy a meal while watching. I did have to go down a steep flight of stairs to get to this place so be advised if you do choose here. I also don't believe there's easy street parking - as I said I walked here and it was only a few minutes from my hotel. However, I wouldn't let that deter you. Great place and I will definitely go again!

We were there on a Friday midday and they were really busy. Shout out to the bartender, her name starts with a b or a d, she was so busy and did such an awesome job making sure that we had everything we needed. I can see her frustration a little bit as busy as she was but she did a great job. The food was good and the beignets were awesome we'll definitely be back

We stopped in for breakfast. Lots of food options on the menu. I think it was the fastest service we ever received. Our food arrived literally in about 5 minutes!!! Even though food came fast, quality was spit on. The potatoes were so delicious. I could have eaten just those :) Great service too.

Great choice of southern dishes I selected gumbo & red bean rice+ breaded shrimp. Could not fault this cooking. Lovely restaurant light & spacious with comfortable seating. Very good waitress service from Diane who is efficient & friendly. Not kept waiting longer than 10 minutes.

Loved the view and the salmon with lemon sauce. Service was a little slow but I’m sure that varies. Would definitely visit again!!

Ww were referred there by a tour guide. He raved about the food. However, the food was just basic. It needed more seasoning. Advertised as cajun. The portions were large. The service was great. The restaurant setting was nice.

Food was delicious! Ate there twice while in Savannah for a long weekend. Will definitely go back again and get the beignets again! So yummy!
