The food at hungry vegan was fantastic. My wife and ate here on thanksgiving and we had their thanksgiving vegan loaf which took us to a new plane of existence. Fair warning, bring a pillow cause this soul food will put you in a coma (the good kind).

We stopped here on our last day in Savannah and the food was delicious. Their meatloaf is great, and the greens and everything else. If you’re vegan in Savannah and looking for great vegan soul food, be sure to come here (My partner isn’t even vegan and he loved it!) Be sure to get their fried oyster mushrooms too

This is, without a doubt, the best vegan food in the area. All of our food was flavorful and clearly made with love. My picky 8 year old said that Hungry Vegan is her second favorite restaurant. That is very telling! Lastly, the service is amazing. I placed an order that I wouldn’t be able to pick up until 5 minutes before close (something that I try not to do) and the woman working the register went above and beyond to make our experience positive.

I absolutely love Hungry Vegan! Each time I go I get their big vegan plate with their cauliflower wings. They are nice and crispy as well as paired well with their vegan ranch. The plate is so filling! It comes with rice, vegan Mac and cheese, corn bread, and a choice of two sides. Their peach cobbler is also quite tasty! I can’t wait to eat it with some ice cream! This place is definitely one of my favorites!

One of the best vegan meals I’ve had—I had the big vegan with fried mushrooms, mac and cheese, black eyed peas, greens, and rice with gravy. Everything was so delicious and the people were super nice. Will definitely be back when I am in town next!

The food was amazing! I got 2 plates, one with lasagna and the other was the veggie loaf both with 2 sides. The lima beans were so good. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The desserts were 10/10!

These women were extremely friendly. The owner makes all the food. We had lasagna, Salisbury stake, and sides of ocra, collard greens, mac-n-cheese and potatoes. All.were awesome. Then the peach and blueberry cobblers were ready and they were spectacular.
My wife and I were so full and satisfied. We ate inside and they came over to speak with us. We really enjoyed our time there.

Had the honor of picking up catering my friend ordered from Hungry Vegan, so I went in after hours. Still smelled delicious. Such friendly people and the restaurant had all the tell-tale signs of well-seasoned food to come. The catering were half pans of their best. The salisbury steak was close to the real deal and over the rice was such a down home delight. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy. Honorable mention to the veggie loaf, the topping made me dance! Overall, the food did not miss. Mind you—this was all plant-based I am told.
