Loved the Husk in Charleston . . . Looked forward to trying Husk in Savannah. It did not measure up. Lovely ambiance but quality and service were off. Would not recommend. Mediocre food and service was lacking.

From the first step inside till the end of the evening it was a magical experience. Our server Fatima was fantastic and made the greatest recommendations. The manger also came by and he was friendly and attentive. Everyone was fantastic! The food is knock out and the experience memorable. If you are wanting a special night out, a night to remember, an amazing time this is the place.

The food was great but a bit disappointed with my last visit to Husk. We’ve been going for years. We’ve always had a good experience. Unfortunately this past one we had to wait over an hour between the entrée and main dishes. Also, we were celebrating a birthday, and we had mentioned that, but there were no accommodations or anything done in regards to that, even after the very long, wait for the food.

I absolutely love the Husk in Charleston and was so hyped to try the Savannah location. I can’t even begin to describe my disappointment. The shrimp and grits lacked all flavor and seasoning. Literally every bite was bland and I barely ate the dish but didn’t say anything because there wasn’t anything else on the menu that I remotely wanted. My friend had the Carolina rice dish which was overflowing with oil and also a miss. Deviled eggs were mediocre, biscuits were overcooked. The best thing was the pimento cheese inside the biscuit. That is up to par with the Charleston location. Overall, just sad we wasted a meal here. I will say the server was friendly and atmosphere wonderful but not worth the stop.

A true gourmet gem with excellent food and wine choices. Our server Fatima was one of the best we have ever had. Make sure you try different things.

The food, service and atmosphere could not have been better. We've frequented the Charleston staple and very much miss the Greenville Husk. This was our first visit to Husk Savannah. Our expectations were high but they were met.

BEWARE: Pre-made “craft” cocktails, kept in Tupperware behind the bar, deserve no stars, and should be served complimentary from a cooler while you wait to be seated.
The only craftiness was putting these drinks in crystal, and referring to them as “favorites”. Not amusing at all….Order something from a bottle or neat.
Weird to see the stack of refrigerators in an historic space and the half used bottles of water being discreetly saved… like, what is this?
Anyway, the food is fine, pretty, but a little lack luster… the service is fun & drunk, and the lighting is good as long as you’re not at a booth.
The booths have direct, hard led lighting— pointed down-straight over you, making a 20 year old look 60.
The butterscotch dessert is a scam — it’s like sour milk with some weird chunks of white and crumbled bread. Yuck-o-la.

My husband and I were in town for a concert and decided to try Husk. We sat in the main dinning room upstairs which was stunning yet cozy, even with this large room they were able to make it feel intimate. We started with a hibiscus infused old-fashioned which may sound odd, but the subtle floral infusion turned a classic cocktail into something truly special.. We shared the coal fired chicken, which may sound simple, but the sauce and side made it a wonderful combination. The shrimp and grits was a bit too rich for me but my husband thought it was some of the best he’s had.
What really made the evening was our server Kelly. His knowledge of the menu, wine, and cocktail list was exceptional. It was like having a pairing dinner. He introduced us to some wines that we would not have considered. The highlight was desert. Kelly suggested an apple brandy to accompany the cheesecake with an amazing crust, topped with fresh cream and poached pears. The pears, chessecake and brandy combo was the perfect ending to our meal. We can’t wait to return on our next visit and will definitely ask for Kelly.

Modern twist on Low Country classics. Best Shrimp & Grits I’ve ever had! Attentive but not intrusive service. Charming restored historic residence!

Husk is great if you like the farm to table vibe. Not real great options for menu choices, smaller unique menu. Smaller plates and very $$$$. Got the ribeye for $150 and wasn’t that impressed. Grits was banging though. Inside is stunning. Very old English building. Nice to go once.
