The entire experience was amazing. Atmosphere: this restaurant is in a house built in the 1800s. It's been through some different things. A ballroom (now dining room) was added. There was a fire so things had to be repaired. It's stunning! Our server, David, was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive. They have a rotating menu. Everything we ate was outstanding. Put it on your list.
Wonderful location for a restaurant, the building was very grand and modest at the same time. Staff were very professional but were dressed comfortably.
We were asked to give our entire dinner order at altogether so the chef could pair how the meal was to be served. We ordered the lady Edison ham and white lily biscuits as sides and the wife had the brasstown beef while I had the North Carolina striped bass.
The ham was sliced really thin...

We went for happy hour and really enjoyed our small bites (deviled eggs with caviar and the oysters were amazing). We also shared the Bass. The fish was fresh, not fishy, with crispy skin (perfectly crunchy), and came with carrots which we devoured.
The happy hour cocktails were worth it and the dessert was very unique!
