I gave one star for service and atmosphere because I was very uncomfortable there because when I walked in to pick up my online order. The employees were sitting down and just looking at me. I walked to the bar, and still nothing. Some Mexicans walked in, and the woman that suppose to greet you jumped up immediately and started seating them, and one of the other employees grabbed them drinks. In this Jalapeño location Hector, Memo and the staff make you feel right at home! Is my favorite place to grab lunch during the week or Fridays social for a Frozen Mango delicious Margarita! You hear the upbeat song when is someone’s Birthday and we all join to clapping. You get to meet community and is just a great place to eat and hang out!
Menu descriptions are not always accurate. I ordered the skirt steak, received some other cut that was clearly not skirt as it was tough and full of nerves... fortunately they admitted they don't have skirt and took it back. At least they did the right thing. The green-chili pork 'tenderloin' was clearly not tenderloin, but it was delicious! The shrimp quesadilla was also delicious. The server was great. Awesome selection of good tequilas.
