A friend and I visited for lunch and it was an okay experience. The service was great; we immediately were seated and food came out quickly. The food itself was alright. The ramen didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for, and my friend's teriyaki chicken wasn't anything super great. I might come back again if I'm in the area, but I don't think I'd make any special trips.

I ordered takeout from Kanpai 2 bcuz it was close to my hotel & I was starving & didn't want fast food.
The waiter greeted me upon arrival & I told him I wanted to place a to go order. He was polite & my order came out fast.
I ordered the chicken & shrimp combo with mushroom soup & salad. Was it worth $16? Not really, but I was hungry & tired. The shrimp tasted fresh & was cooked perfectly. The dish had more cabbage than any other veggie, even though it was supposed to be mixed veggies. The chicken was not bad but it was kind of dry. There was really no flavor to the dish, even though it was supposed to be teriyaki. The teriyaki tasted watered down. Thank goodness for the yum yum sauce! The mushroom soup was great! It had a wonderful flavor to it. The salad was lettuce. That's it. However, the ranch dressing was good & made the lettuce tasty.
The restaurant has a nice quaint vibe, nice ambience.
I've been going here ever since I found it. I've never been to the other location. Every time no matter dining in or takeout my food is always fresh and delicious. They don't have many servers which I like. You get constant service from the same waiters who recognize you and welcome you. 10 out of 10 for me. Get the chicken and scallops with steamed rice. Perfection every time!
