This cute cafe was recommended and it did not disappoint. The waiter suggested the walnut “chorizo” burrito with cashew cream sauce, black beans and a little green salad in the side. An Arnold Palmer drink and it was the ideal healthy lunch!
We ordered Kayak Cafe via Uber Eats. My mother and I are gluten-free, so this came up as one of the top spots in Savannah. It also said “Best Tacos in Town.” We were met with disappointment when the food arrived. Everything we had asked to be changed on the order (i.e. no guacamole, onions, add this, etc.) was done completely the opposite. It’s as though someone was laughing at us in the kitchen (“How dare you request different from my recipe? I’ll show you!”)
In addition, as soon as you picked up the corn tortilla tacos, everything just fell through the middle creating a huge mess.
The tortilla chips looked like they had been bathing in grease and were still dripping in the container by the time they came to us.
This was a hugely disappointing experience- especially with my parents visiting from overseas looking for good authentic tacos.
Don’t believe the hype!

Had lunch delivered, ordered the turkey melt with no bun and received 2-4 tiny pieces of turkey with a slice of avocado on top. This was a $30 lunch
Delicious food and friendly server. The cucumber lemonade was so good!

Excellent quality and flavors. I got the roasted turkey cubano and my friend got the balsamico paninis. We were both very happy with our food. Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options.

My daughter and I were looking for something somewhat healthy in midtown found this place. We were happily welcomed in and seated. There were so many awesome choices both vegan and not vegan. I chose the Lime Chicken Enchiladas which were sooooo delicious! My daughter ordered the half sandwich and half salad which was just what she was looking for. We also had the strawberry banana smoothie, yummy!
We loved this place so much we came back again a few days later! I could have ordered something different but those lime chicken enchiladas were sooooo delicious, I had to get it again!

Brought my partner and parents here and had a wonderful experience all thanks to Brittany J. She had great energy and extreme patience for our dietary restrictions. The food was pretty good too, decent portion sizes and tons of options. My drink was a tad strong but I enjoyed it too.

Food ok but portions small. For vegetarians better options elsewhere in Savannah.

Great Vegan options. Menu is clearly labeled. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating to dietary needs.
Great items for everyone in our party. The vegan options were excellent, as were the drinks! There were 5 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks.
