Shu Hot Pot & Korean BBQ KTV

This restaurant's ambiance is everything. The prices are reasonable and the complementary bar is nice. Enjoyed the broth selection however, this review may be biased when it comes to the korean barbecue. Having a family who owns a korean restaurant, the meat quality could use some work from how it's marinated and the cuts of meat. There's some flavors missing. That's the only reason why this was rated mid. Really enjoyed our waitress. She was very attentive.

Horrible experience. I witnessed our server take multiple shots of alcohol with another guest. The server told us to be patient when we asked for refills. The same server was wearing sunglasses and playing at every table. It felt that we were being served by a child. This restaurant does not take business seriously in the slightest. WILL NOT RETURN.

Such a great meal! This was my first time doing the hot pot. Visiting from Montana and I know I'll be back the next time I'm in town. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. The entire experience was a lot of fun.

My experience was excellent. The food arrived quickly, the restaurant was spotless, and our server Ty provided outstanding service attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

This is my first time and Vee aka Vashti I believe. She was amazing and phenomenal. Service was the best part. I was on a business trip. I will definitely be back and I’m bringing the crew. Just for her 💙

This place is awesome!!! Attentive staff, generous portions, and SUCH a beautiful restaurant!! Bella was our server and she was so kind!! Our food came out quickly and they have a huge selection of sauces and appetizers on their buffet! We had an amazing time and will return when we are in Savannah again!!!

This place is absolutely wonderful. The staff are amazing and the food is well priced for what you are getting. The BBQ and Hotpot is all you can eat and a great value for the excellent service. Our server Bella was very knowledgeable and as sweet as could be. We will be returning here as soon as we can

We visited Shu Hot Pot & Korean BBQ in Savannah, GA (off Derenne Ave) and were honestly pretty disappointed.
We ordered the Healthy Herbs Soup, Mushroom Soup, Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Beef Bulgogi, and Baby Squid. From the self-serve bar, we tried the chicken wings, which were sitting at room temperature and dried out, plus the Napa kimchi and cucumber kimchi, both of which had an off taste.
For a place that presents itself as high-end, I expected a better and larger selection of meats. The restaurant itself looked nice inside, but the music was so loud that we could barely hear our waiter explain how things worked. Throughout the meal, the waiter stood off to the side watching us, which made the experience uncomfortable.
Our total came to around $81 for two people, and we were only there about 24 minutes. The sweet tea was extremely sugary—basically liquid diabetes in a glass.
Overall, Shu Hot Pot looks nice but falls short in food quality, service, and atmosphere. There’s definitely room for improvement before I’d consider going back.

Unsatisfactory on the health inspection

We love this restaurant, the hot pot is fire and Shine is the BEST server! The owner/manager is also incredibly kind and helpful as well. Absolutely love this place!

I've been here twice now, and I will be coming back more. Its a nice spot with quality food and a good atmosphere thanks to all of the decorations and signage. There are smaller tables and large group tables for groups of all sizes. If you dont feel like eating with friends, then feel free to eat as much as you want by yourself; thats what I do.
