Was so excited to try this food and was so disappointed the kalua pork was plain with no seasoning and very soggy. The barbecue mix was just covered in thick teriyaki sauce with zero complexity and that “hamburger steak” that comes with it is very greasy and flavorless, they give you macaroni salad and because it’s in the same box it gets warm and melty and is vey unpleasant. I enjoyed the masubi with soy and siracha but plain was fishy and unpleasant. The garlic and green onion fries were repulsive giant globs of minced garlic scooped onto a bed of unseasoned mushy fries. The service was great but I would never come here again

We didn't sit down to eat, but it was clean and smelled good. This is our first time having Hawaiian Barbecue, and we really enjoyed it. Spam Musubi was surprisingly better than I expected. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

We are new to the area and we were wanting island food not knowing there was an L&L in the area. Wow!! We had ordered the BBQ mix and seafood plate. I must say the flavors were out of this world! The meats were tender and the seafood and fish were so tender and the size of the fish fillets were thick. It wasn’t a thin fillet and not even dry. I love the seasoning they used for both the shrimps and fish. Yum!!! Our portions was generous-EXCEPT; for the rice. I would have liked a bigger scoop portion for the rice as what was used was real small more for like a kids portion. I still rate an 5 stars bc the rice was cooked in perfection. It wasn’t dry and it wasn’t too wet. It was the perfect sticky rice. Overall, our plates came out in a decent time, it was pipping hot and the flavors were delicious!! Kudos to the chef and lady had a great customer service and had a nice big smile! We will make the drive out here again! Aloha & Mahalo!!🌺❤️

Meh. Went in because it looked interesting and wasn’t at all impressed. Used ice from a soda machine to make my “smoothie” that’s not at all a smoothie. Tastes like a cheap gas station smoothie.

My husband and I used to order from this specific chain all the time. This was definitely not the same experience.
The chicken katsu my husband ordered was flavorless and didn't look anything like it used to look (see photo).
The bubble tea we received tasted like water with boba; No taro flavor at all.
Not to mention the pricing was outrageous. What was $12 in California a year ago, was $21 here today.
Super disappointed. We will not be returning.

This chain was one of my favorite places to eat in California. This location does not live up to the memory. The food we recieved lacked flavor, and was over cooked. The bubble tea tasted like water. I spent 50 dollars for me and my wifes food here and it was below McDonald's quality. I will not be returning here.

Delicious food. Great service. My husband, who grew up in Hawaii was very impressed with this little slice of home. We’ll definitely be back.
