Got a good portion for the price, the woman taking our order was kind and explained the menu and gave her recommendations. The cook was attentive and came out and asked my daughter if she liked her cheeseburger and chatted a bit with us about some recent trips he took and what he learned food wise about them.

I ordered two plates of garlic shrimp, and it was a total disappointment. The service was good, but the food lacked flavor—bland rice, no sauce, no seasoning. Just a few shrimp tossed on some lettuce, and I was out $42.27. It’s not worth the money. The quality has seriously declined since their top chef left, and it shows. With the recent one-star reviews piling up, they need to make changes fast or risk closing for good. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

My new favorite place to eat! Really good food at Hawaiian Barbecue. You can taste the quality of the recipes they use. With a proven track record originating in Hawaii in 1952. This restaurant chain has recently expanded to Savannah, Georgia. I predict it will soon take its place by expanding throughout the USA. Their first quality ingredients combined with firmly followed recipes produces a consistent, delicious and generous plate of really good food. It keeps me coming back. The owners Angel Sr., Val, and Angel Jr. operate this business first rate and treat you like family. Ohana as they say. Tell them Dollar sent you.

Don’t even waste your time with this place. I wish I would’ve just went to season of Japan I’d get more bang for my buck. Food was -3/5 how do you mess up on rice??? Never ever again only reason it isn’t -5 because the sauce was good lmao very disappointed.

I just ordered seafood combo from L&l Hawaiian. The food was tasteless. I spent 23 dollars and some change. It's not about the money , but it s about the quality of the food. I put the food in trash . I will never go back there again for anything. This is my first time and time patronaging L&l Hawaiian. Please don't go there to buy, because you do , you are wasting your money and you time.. The quality of the food is very poor. I don't think a dog will eat this type of food.
The customer service was not good the man was in a rush to leave I asked him not to make my food salty and he piled all this teriyaki sauce on my food which made it unbearable to eat.

I love that we finally have a L&L in Savannah. But the kitchen plays Hip Hop while the front is playing Reggae. I love both genres but not at the same time.

If you've been to Hawaii, or been to one of the fabulous Hawaiian style restaurants on the west coast.... this little gem off Abercorn is a must try!
Been living in Savannah area for 9 months, and randomly Googled "Hawaiian food near me." I could not believe that the first thing I saw was L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Like for real? Yes, for real!
Growing up in Hawaii, and going to the University of Hawaii at Manoa.... L&L was a staple for any kama'aina (local). We go there for lunch, for dinner, in between classes or cut class and take a plate lunch to the beach with us! L&L was anywhere and everywhere.
And the Savannah location DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!
The atmosphere instantly gave me that back home irie vibe and it smelled so good I was drooling as I swayed to the music. But that first bite of that BBQ chicken.. OMG, it's 1998 at Hsle Wainani again! Total Time Machine Trip!
Mahalo Nui Loa to the owner for bringing this onolicious food to me, and everyone else in the area! I hate that I'm leaving to Pensacola (no L&L there... yet), but I'm definitely coming back before I go... and I'm catering yall for my going away lu'au!

Overpriced food and it seemed the chicken was reheated too many times. $24.00 for lunch was unacceptable and not a value at all. I won't return

This place is awesome! Excited that L&L is now over in Georgia. After moving from Washington 4 years ago we thought we would never see a L&L again and here they are. If you are in the area, you definitely should stop by!! I recommend their BBQ Mix plate. Get their BBQ sauce as well! You can’t get enough!

Been to the establishment a few times. The rice is never good, which is disappointing. Rice is a staple is Hawaii. Which is why I request 2 servings of mac salad. The first time I went the customer service was top tier. Last time I visited, today, the customer was quite the opposite. If you visit steer clear of the rice.
I just left and my food is cooked to hard. And BBQ rip cooked burnt!! Bring there numerous times before was all good!!
