The store looked good
But the Philly cheesesteak had nothing to do with a Philly no taste no flavor onions where still raw meat not chopped or cooked well and for the price of $21 way over priced buddy

Updating my review after 8 years.
Store is under new management, I used to rate this store 5 star across the board but things have changed. New crew isnt as friendly as the guy that used to run it. An I normally only order one thing from the restaurant an today when I came in they where out of a main ingredient for the first time in 15 years of me coming to this store.

I have never had a Larry’s sub before but after my experience yesterday I will never go back. I went to the location on Abercorn Street on 7/16/2025 and ordered the Philly subway and the tuna sub both sandwiches were AWFUL! The bread was dry and hard and the sandwiches tasteless. We threw both sandwiches in the trash. Waste of time and money!

I ordered an Italian sub. It was supposed to be toasted. At best it was warm. There were only 2 sodas, nothing diet and no tea. Clover app has not been setup by the new owners. The sub was $21+. Not a good deal at all.

We travel from Buffalo to Savannah once or twice a year and this is always one of our go to stops! Our last trip we ate at The Old Pink House and The Pirate House. Everybody agreed Larry’s was BETTER! Great service, reasonable prices and amazing food!!

my friend took me here because she says it's the best subs in Savannah. she was right!
He asked me what I was in the mood to eat and said anything vegetarian. he then makes me the best vegetarian sandwich I've ever had! i had a giant sub, 3 cookies and a drink.... less than $20. you have to eat here.

Veggies were crisp and fresh. Meat was nice and tasted well. Owner was very friendly. Comments mentioning rudeness make me think that people are taking a language barrier personal. I got the ultimate and it’s the first sub I’ve had that reminds me of the firehouse hero. Not saying the hero is the best sub ever. It was just one of my favorites growing up and this scratched that itch. Thank you!
