One of my favorite spots in Savannah! Be prepared to wait in line, but I promise the wait even in the heat of Summer is worth it! Lots of flavors to sample and choose from including seasonal rotations. The coffee ice cream is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Decor is movie posters and an old jukebox.
Without having this ice cream trip to Savannah is incomplete ….. testy and value for money
One of the best ice cream experiences I’ve ever had.
It was amazing, the flavors available were great! The girl behind the counter could use some people and social skills and work on her appearance and professionalism... Needs much improvement. Ice cream was great.
Very tasty.
Yummy! Really made our day while we were at the airport.
Ice cream looked amazing but I didn’t get to try it because service was so slow
Delicious ice cream and quaint atmosphere
For over a decade I have never found a place that has had better ice cream than a local ice cream shop in the city I live in. After recommendations from Savannah locals, I was able to try some ice cream at Leopolds before my flight home. That decade long streak has now been broken.
Leopolds has the best ice cream I have ever tasted in a long time. Not overly sweet and has a natural taste to it. Not sure when I’ll get to have this ice cream again but would recommend to anyone visiting. You won’t be disappointed!
This rescued my Savanah trip. I noticed this on the way out of the airport, saw the insane lines at the ones in the city proper, and decided I'd just try the ice cream at the relatively line-free airport location instead. My only regret is that I only got to try it once during my trip.
I see why people wait in line for the ice cream - it's actually pretty delicious. That said, glad I didn't have to stand in line. I thought that the single/double cups were insanely huge when buying the ice cream, but after finishing my double, my husband and I felt like we didn't have enough and ended up getting a kid size as well.
The butter pecan was surprisingly good - rich and buttery and with just enough toasted pecans. I thought the cookie one that had pecans would be just as good, but I think there aren't enough cookies chunks. There's also Savanah Socialite, which is great if you like chocolate. My surprising favorite read the Sakura though - it actually had a slight tinge of cherry, which I really liked.
I also tried banana, which was disappointingly not fresh tasting enough - the banana flavor tasted a bit chemically, as banana flavored things tend to taste if not done well.

One of the best ice creams I've ever tasted, they don't compare to anything else. Delicious!

So sad that we didn’t get the full experience but at least we got to taste the famous Leopold’s before we flew out! We had the rum bisque and the classics peach and both were phenomenal!

We were so happy to see that there is a Leopold’s ice cream in the airport since we didn’t get a chance to try it in Savannah. Sampled a few flavors and got the rum bisque and it was delicious and definitely the best!
