Unfortunately got food poisoning from either the chicken philly sandwich or the breakfast burrito supreme at the abercorn location. Never happened before but I probably won't eat there again.

We entered the establishment this afternoon at 1pm. The sign displayed "Please Seat Yourself." We looked around the restaurant, found an open table on the opposite side of the signage, waited approximately 20-25 minutes even watched a waitress twice service others around us. Made eye contact with the waitress across the dining area, she turned her head and didn't come back to our area. Finally, we went to the checkout counter and asked for a manager. Once I was told who the manager was, I introduced myself and I asked was she the manager? She said I guess I am. At that time, I told her what had happened, she asked did we seat ourselves? I then pointed to the signage and told her that is what the sign displayed. The manager told me no one paid attention and since we were behind the wall that is why we were overlooked. The manager then turned the sign around to "Wait to be seated." No apologies, just we'll get someone to you soon. Jarelle came over to the table serviced us professionally, gave us good food recommendations and was given a nice tip! We visit The Breakfast place a lot! I believe they are a sister company, and we NEVER have received this type of service. Customer service is everything and signage displayed. See something, Say something. Hopefully this gets better.

If you want the freshest, hottest Belgium waffle in Savannah Georgia, this place with its casual atmosphere and competitive pricing fits the bill. The menu selection is enormous. ☕️Their signature dish of a Belgian waffle with deep fried chicken strips is an epicurean adventure. The waffle will bring you in but the omelets, sandwiches and the kids menu are varied and delicious.

Kid-friendliness: A great weekend breakfast/lunch place for the whole family.

Wheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair friendly. 5 stars for wide aisles and high pull-up tables.

Really good food, came down to visit family down here in Savannah. The chicken was well seasoned, the grits where cooked correctly. The waffles where not too soft not too hard cooked for the right amount of time.

I've been looking for a chicken and waffle restaurant and found it. I ordered the waffle and tenders and was impressed. I'll be back to try other things on the menu as well.

Hate to change my review, because I really like this diner and the staff, but this is a deal-breaker for me. I have experienced a few extremely unpleasant experiences in the last 45 days that might limit my future business and could definitely be problematic for others:
First, while sitting at a table in the dining area, a large (2.5-inch) cockroach flitted down from the ceiling onto my seat, beside me, scurried to the floor and then scampered the length of the restaurant. This was off-putting, to say the least. Second, the climate (HVAC system) seems to follow extremes - mid to low 60's in the summer when the air is running, and upper 70's to lower 80's in the fall, when it gets very cool overnight and they shut off the HVAC (or possibly turning on the heat?). My personal understanding is that restaurant temps should usually sit between 68 and 72 for hygienic purposes and to accommodate extreme kitchen heat and crowds. Unfortunately, extreme distribution of cold air from the system in the summertime leads to excess condensation building up on the ductwork, dripping on my head. Hopefully, an auto, digital, or smart thermostat can be acquired, as I believe this would be a good investment.

If I could give it a 0 I would, waited 10 minutes, nobody asked us if we wanted anything to drink nor did they take our order… 3 groups of people came in and got sat and got their orders taken… Do not recommend at all.
