Great Americano and delicious double chocolate peanut butter pie!

Lulu’s has been my go-to spot for cheesecake, and I’ve had many great experiences there. However, my last two slices were quite disappointing. I found three separate pieces of hair in them, which was very unsatisfying.

The cake of course is great. The atmosphere was cool there wasn’t too many people in there so we were able to sit pretty fast.

Rude, rude, rude!!!!!! Out of state visitor. Maneuver the labyrinth of one way streets to find Lulu’s. Circle to find a parking space in the rain. Walk a block to pay to park in the rain. Enter Lulu’s and wait at the sign to wait to be seated. Check out the dessert case while I wait to be seated. Finally seated at a table for two just inside the door in front of the dessert case. Wait to be waited on. Check out dessert case. Wait to be waited on. Check the menu again. Wait to be waited on. 2 people come in and seated 1 table away and instantly asked for their drink order. We are still waiting. 4 people come in and seated at a table near us and instantly asked for what they would like. We are still waiting. I go to the counter and the server is clueless that we have been seated and waiting. The second waitress is clueless that we have been seated and waiting. One of the waitresses says there are only 2 of them. That should make it harder to be confused about when a new customer comes in and waits to be seated and is seated at a table. I put a lot of effort to find this chocolate shop and a lot of effort to find a place to park and to walk to the kiosk to pay in the rain. Too bad the staff at Lulu’s put no effort into serving us.

Walked up to dine in with my bachelorette party and was seated immediately. It was great to see/hear the seasonal/weekly specials. The desserts were delicious and just enough along with some tasty cocktails. Atmosphere was beautiful but small and very loud. Would definitely stop here again!

I’ve been a frequent customer of Lulus for some time now. The chocolate covered strawberries are always my go to. I make the trip from statesboro to Savannah just to get the strawberries. This time, the strawberries are not great, like at all. I’m not a desert connoisseur, but does this look appetizing to you? Am I tripping? These are on the pricier side and they’re off colored and mushy. Everyone has off days but please be sure to rotate the deserts if they’ve been sitting a while.

Food and drinks have always been amazing but the service was incredible. Our server Abby was an absolute gem and made our visit such a positive experience which isnt the case 30 minutes before close anywhere else!
