Cool and eclectic coffee spot tucked in amongst the historic Savannah homes. Great use of space and looks great inside and on their outdoor patio. They have a vegan style menu for the baked goods and use carob in place of chocolate.

This is the cutest, cozy coffee shop I’ve been to in a while! Incredibly kind workers, really unique sitting areas, all in a very earthy environment. The breakfast sandwich was a nice portion for the price and flavor was great. The coffees were perfection. You could tell the baristas cared about their craft. Highly recommended!

Cozy and quiet place to enjoy a fresh baked good and delicious beverage while you read or chat with a friend. I dont discriminate based on religion so do not care about the references to Jesus in their painting or whatever, the people are super friendly and not creepy at all. I think the lower Starred reviews are just prejudiced people. I am not religious and this is a good cafe.

Mate that was made extremely well. Pizza in the back. One of the coziest places in all of Savannah.

Visiting with parents on New Year's Day 2026. Nice rustic decor. Gentle fiddle music. Friendly staff. Veggie burger which is also vegan was very good.
Awesome place. We visit it every time we are in Savannah

Was going to come here because of the amount of reviews and high ratings but after noticing they are part of yellow deli I refuse to support a cult and for people that don't know look it up, most of the 12 tribes businesses don't even pay their employees. When they say they are part of 12 tribes it makes you think you're supporting something good but that is the cult.

Mate Factor in Savannah was a good find for some coffee and grub as we were passing through Savannah on our trip to Charlotte. The servers were kind and polite and we had a small chat with them.
For drink we got their Mayan Mocha—the cinnamon was pretty strong in this drink, and despite the fact that it was devoid of caffeine, it still provided the kick to start the day, and for food, we got their Chipotle Chicken sandwich, which was your average chicken sandwich with chipotle sauce—nothing extraordinary.
I would’ve given them 5 stars if not for the sandwich, and for the fact that they’re owned by the group The Twelve Tribes, and after reading about them and what they stand for, I’m not sure if I would want to visit them again.
Seating is available both inside and outside. Parking nearby is street parking.
Overall, an average cafe with not such a hot group that owns it.

Please research the Twelve Tribes (owners) before patronizing this establishment. We will not return on principle. Egg sandwich was soggy, cappuccino just frothy milk and very disappointing. Fruit bread was delicious. Pleasant venue to sit.
