my boyfriend and i were greeted at the door by the owner, shawn! he is beyond friendly and welcoming. while we were waiting for our food, they offered us a new item they’re trying, the rice pudding. it is DELIGHTFUL and i’ve never liked any types of pudding before. everyone working here is inviting and polite and their food is DELECTABLE. of all the indian places in savannah, this one has everything: amazing service, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. we were invited to try the new location as well on stephenson and you can bet we will be returning here and visiting there! wonderful place all around! :) (order the keema (lamb) samosas, they’re my absolute FAVORITE thing to eat ever!!)

As a truck driver, I rely on food delivery because I can’t always get to restaurants myself. I ordered from this place through Uber Eats, hoping for a decent meal after a long shift — what I got was absolutely vile. The food was tasteless, undercooked, and looked dirty — like it hadn’t even been properly washed, let alone prepared with any care. It was inedible. I wouldn't serve this to someone I hated. I contacted the restaurant to complain, and instead of apologizing or offering to fix the issue, they gave me ridiculous excuses, blaming their owner for not supplying enough ingredients or staff. That’s not my problem — if you're open for business, you’re responsible for the food you serve, period. As someone who depends on delivery while working hard on the road, this kind of carelessness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Horrible food. Zero hygiene. No respect for paying customers. Avoid this place like the plague — especially if you’re ordering remotely. They clearly don’t care what they send out the door.

I had the best food in Mithas. I ordered their baigan bharta, chana masala and Dal. Food taste took me back to my India days. I don’t know how many times you take a random exit while driving on a highway and have the best indian food in US. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere and ambience were very pleasant. The staff were very kind and attentive. The roti and garlic naan were fantastic! We ordered a second round. The Mango Lassi is a must have!! Kids loved the Chole Batura. We ended up ordering delivery from them again the next day.
