Miyabi's is still a great place for a large group dinner. You get dinner and a show, what more could you want. Plus, the portions of food are legit. You can find Miyabi's located on Eisenhower and next door to a Chinese buffet. Service is always good and I love that you get a different experience depending on who the chef is. On my most recent visit we had Jackie Chan and he was hysterical. We were celebrating a birthday and he showed her lots of love. I can imagine he is much more PG when children are present. I ordered the shrimp and scallops and both were cooked perfectly. I do wish they provided more vegetables with the meal especially since rice is the main portion. And to be fair, you can always order more as an add on. To me their miso soup is a hit or miss so I've recently been doubling up on the salad instead of the soup. Best decision ever! I also ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri and it was delicious. Some of their alcoholic drinks can be off. On a previous visit I tried their signature cocktail and was extremely disappointed. It tasted like straight up sour mix. Other than that I've never had a bad experience here. Be mindful you will not be seated until your entire party is present. And the more you participate with the chef the more fun you'll get out of the night.

We had the worst experience last night! This is the 2nd time that we had issues with the portion amount. Our chef didn’t cook the vegetables all the way and had to ask the server to bring more vegetables due to the portion amount being short at the table! The chef also gave our chicken portion to another customer dining at our table when he wasn’t pleased with his portion. The chef did this without giving us our portion first and the whole table had already received their portion. The chef proceeded to joke with the other customer and told him, “If you want more chicken, come back tomorrow”. To me the chef should have told him that at first before just giving him our portion of chicken. I have spoken with the manager before about this issue and management truly just ignores this! I spent $82, and we will never return to this restaurant again!

This is my favorite restaurant! I go here a lot. I always have excellent service from the wait staff & chef. The food is always fresh & plenty enough for lunch the next day! Make a reservation in advance. It's such a fun atmosphere & I can't recommend it enough!

We came here for this kids’ birthday dinner. The food was great and the entertainment provided by the chef was fun. We saw a few other birthdays around the restaurant and each chef did something to make it special.I had the filet and chicken combo which was great. The rest of my family had chicken and shrimp. You can’t go wrong with any of it, but I think the shrimp was the best item and would recommend getting that as a part of your meal. All of my family really liked the shrimp too.The meals came with both soup and salad which were served first. Everyone also got a couple pieces of shrimp as an appetizer. The rest of the food comes out as the chef gets done with it. So vegetables first, then rice, then the meat. The chef made some birthday rice cakes as you can see in the pictures which got a laugh from everyone. While the menu prices here are relatively expensive for this type of food, they give you so much food that it is easily 2, possibly 3, meals worth of food, especially for the combo plates. All of my family left with our to go boxes very full. (You could easily share a meal, but they do add an $8 charge if you share). So, I would recommend this place in general, but especially for a birthday where the chefs make some great fun for that.

The food was great and service at the table was on point. We were there to celebrate a little girls birthday and the staff at the front desk made it horrible, plus I got overcharged. My niece was crying because all she wanted was hibachi. The woman at the front was incredibly rude. She wasn't wearing a name tag, so I don't know her name. But she had glasses and pink streaks in her hair. She had an attitude when I first walked in. She took my name and number and said they would text us. She said when we get the text, let her know our party was there. It had been nearly 2 HOURS. So I asked her what the deal was. She was super rude and said she never put us on the list and never said she was going to. So she lied and started arguing with me. There was absolutely NO REASON to start an argument. So I walked away. A person from my party went in and dealt with it all. They said we'd be seated next. Waited ANOTHER 30-45 minutes and they kept telling us "oh you're next right after this party." Then they'd call 5 more parties. Definitely will not be back. Food was not worth the price or hassle. It tasted just as fine as any other hibachi. I also luckily saw I got overcharged $10. They were nice and fixed it (different person than the ones I originally dealt with). But still, the whole experience was garbage.

The sign says Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi. Ive been here NUMEROUS times since they opened years ago. Always a great experience. The first place I ever ate sushi at. We walked in today at opening time (5pm) on a Tuesday and they already had signs up claiming limited seating and requiring reservations. Also, no sushi bar in sight. It's been walled over with a mural of some kind. I mean, they literally closed it off. But they didn't take it off of the sign. We went in for hibachi and sushi. We walked out with none of the above. Yet another long term Savannah restaurant going down the drain.
