I'm from Ohio and was looking for a good Rib joint and found this place, the food is slamm'n, the people are awesome, the portions are enormous, get there early cause the food is so good they ran out of ribs, but I got the Oxtail on red rice, my wife got chicken with Mac & cheese, I don't need to look any further i found my spot. Don't sleep on this place. Thanks for the kindness and making us feel at home 🙏🏾❤️

First time I drove by there it smelled so damn good I had to have lunch there I had to have lunch the next time I went by. The dining area is closed on Mondays but I didn't mind it was a beautiful day so we sat outside and ate. I've got enough food for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. If you like the little hole in the wall authentic places to eat this is it.

Was my first time having them I’m used to tricks and Randy’s but they both were sold out. Then I heard about munchies then somebody suggested Jim and nicks but I said I want to support black local restaurants so my wife went to get some munchies I had the rib dinner she had pig feet I mean everything was delicious fr fr if u haven’t tried them try them you won’t regret it I would have took a pic but I didn’t think about reviewing until after I ate lol

Just arrived in town looking for good soul food. After reading reviews I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and ribs combo along with potato salad and greens. Let me say the food was excellent and Nikki the server was awesome! Small quaint spot, but don't let that deter you.
