my partner & I were quite underwhelmed with the poke quality here unfortunately. granted, we’re used to california poke, but this was pretty disappointing. fish quality was not good and needed to be doused in their soy or mayo sauce. I also felt that the amount of toppings for the rice was pretty light for the fish & masago.

Next door to SCAD Arnold Hall. I came during summer quarter so not slammed but I can imagine this place packed during school days. Teriyaki chicken bowl was perfect.

So please please hear me and know it’s from a good place when I say, yall have got to lay off throwing scallions on everything without people’s request.
I started leaving notes in the uber app asking you to leave the scallions off of my BYO bowl bc I’m never requesting they be added. In fact I do the BYO bowl on purpose so that onions can’t get added by mistake.. So today when I ordered and left a note to leave the scallions off on my bowl, I was thankful you didn’t add them to my poke bowl this time, but I was super puzzled as to why wonton chips needed to be topped with scallions when they’ve never had any in the past? Please put down the scallions 🙏 Your fav customer, leah

I have had better poke, but this poke did satisfy my appetite. I’m used to a larger toppings menu and larger serving. The serving size was moderate, but my favorite Poké place has maybe 15 to 20% more food. The seating is limited and it’s probably best to take your food to go or go and eat by yourself. It’s not suited for large groups. So I would say this restaurant is somewhere between a 3.5 and a 4 out of 5 for me.
Love their poke bowls! Super fast and nice ppl around here. One uncomfortable thing is only ONE employee is out side for serving and help checking out everything at the same time… can y’all hire more people?
