I really enjoy your food and order from you often, but tonight’s Grubhub delivery arrived completely ruined because of how everything was packaged. Here’s what happened: • The cabbage (which has a lot of liquid) was packed in the same container as the rice and chicken. The bag was carried sideways during delivery, so all the liquid soaked into the rice and chicken and everything mixed together into a soggy mess. • The creamed corn was packed in the same container as the mashed potatoes and pork chops. Same problem—the corn spilled everywhere, turning the entire meal into soup. • The dinner rolls were placed at the bottom of the bag and were soggy. By the time the driver handed me the bag, almost nothing was edible. I had to throw most of the order away, which was extremely disappointing. I understand the driver handling plays a role, but the main issue is that wet, saucy items (cabbage and creamed corn) were combined in open containers with dry/starchy foods. For delivery, these really need to be in separate, securely lidded containers so they can’t leak or spill no matter how the bag is carried. I’d love to keep ordering from you, but right now the packaging simply isn’t suitable for delivery or third-party apps. A few small changes (separate sealed containers for anything wet, rolls on top, etc.) would prevent this from happening again. Thank you for listening—I hope you’ll make these adjustments soon.

Let me be first to give this place 1 star. Exceptions were already low, but after eating here they are even lower. Servers walking around with a vape in her hand, food at the counters is a mess and floor is covered with dirt and food. Everyone throws the self serve spoons into the food which is absolutely disgusting. Food is washed down an and low quality, why are the sweet potato’s white? Don’t ask me I didn’t make them. Highly recommend going elsewhere where. Do not waste your money eating this slop.

First time here.. So many varieties of meats, vegetables, and desserts..

Good variety of Real southern tasting food. Decent prices and Ms Queen was a jewel of a waitress. Fried chicken was good and crunchy.. it was Fish fry night, I don't eat fried fish but it looked absolutely delicious. Go try this place

This is one of my favorite places to go for old time food like great mashed potatoes, fried chicken and all kinds of things. However, they ran out of macaroni and cheese, which was one of my favorites and it took a long time to get some fried chicken, but I finally got it. It was so good.

Monica was a doll, as well as some of the other women. The male workers were closed minded, non responsive and hot headed. The venue wasnt as clean as needed, and I wish there was a Halloween special for desserts.

And I mean this 100% the absolute worst food at a ole times ever. The food not even the same on the bar as the rest of them . Either it was empty or very very overcooked. And no there's maybe fifteen people in here so the food should not meet empty . If I could have gotten a refund I would have. Ate half my plate and left
