The place is like don’t judge a book by its cover, The moment I stepped inside I had a warm welcome from waitress Jennifer music is not loud, tables are organized and set cool I had chicken biryani and butter chicken with garlic naan, and garlic chicken as appetizer these food had a rich flavors, looked very fresh, I had a great rest of the day with left overs🥰
The food is fire. Pretty expensive though. They never have the order ready when I get there. Even if I arrive after the time it was due to be ready. The place is almost always empty. Which is odd, because the garlic naan and tikka masala slap.
The food was very delicious do not be surprised when you come and there are no cars because it’s definitely worth it to step in, we got
The chicken tikka and that would have been enough on its own but we also tried the lamb vindaloo and the kulcha it was all delicious and worth the wait give them a try ❤️
Don't let the outside appearance of this place fool you....looks like a dive, but open the doors and you are in a nice restaurant with white table cloths, friendly & helpful staff, and really good Indian cuisine! We had three different curry dishes with three different meats (lamb, goat and chicken)....all were great! All were reasonably priced. Traditional dishes and receipes, excellent flavors -- true comfort food! We had enough for a second meal the next day.
The place was nice and clean and the food was 10/10
Their new rice pudding (kheer) was quite tasteful. Ask for extra toppings if you love the smell and taste of cardamom and pistachios.
Service was incredible and the atmosphere is amazing!

Avoid this place. They have very unfair gratuity policy. they wud’nt sit your friends together and still say your party had 15 people and will charge gratuity. very bad and cheating tactics. Food was also ok and not worth the money. stay away from this nonsense place . i wud have given negative stars had i had option to do so
Very good food. Would come again for sure. Gratuity for parties of 4 or more.

Coming back after quite a long time away (due to distance and money) and we have had just as pleasant of an experience as ever! The servings are in the exact same dishes as always and definitely have not gotten smaller and since coming with our children for the first time, they actually gave us a few things extra for the experience. The manager (or owner?) came to check on us multiple times, as he always does, and our food was absolutely delicious. Our server was late (we arrived exactly at opening) and so the chef came out with water and menus and took our order for us. The server was so curteous and Shaun (sp?) the desert guy helped us out even more as we were checking out and also told me about the great charities they take part in (I'm so sorry, I had my focus on my baby in my arms and can't remember what they are).
I have been coming here since college. (2010 at least!) I've brought many friends over the years, college colleagues, dates, double dates and now with my children, and we always have the best experience! We have an Indian restaurant across from our home in Richmond Hill, which is also great, but anytime we are in town, we are always excited to stop in for a meal! Thank you so much, again for the great experience!!

The food isn’t very good. The chicken meat was tough and stringy. $30 for butter chicken, rice, paratha, and a canned Coke. The portions were meager and re-cooked. I was the only person there. Pakwan use to be a great place to eat. The food quality has drastically taken a decline, while the price steadily rises. The staff is very nice however. The food just isn’t good anymore.

the food was so good!!! I had the palak paneer and sweet naan and gosh it was so refreshing to have made well, you could really taste the care they put into making it. We also tried the veget samosas and tive pudding for desert and it was a joy. The service was excellent with a very attentive attendant and the ambiance of the place was so nice and homey it just topped the whole thing off. Looking forward to coming back with friends and family!
Vegetarian options: I had the palak paneer and vegetable samosas and they were really fantastic. Everything is kept clean and safe by the chefs too so i never had to worry
