This location, Victory Dr. Columbus Ga., is the worst Papa Johns I've ever experience. The pizza was soggy. The worker prepared pizzas with her bare hands and no head covering. Never again will I patronize this resturant!!! Very disappointing .

This Papa John’s has been doing a great job for me up into my last order. I added on a cookie to my online order over the phone and realized after I paid for my order they charged me an extra $14.98 for a $6.99 Add on. They said a manager would call me to fix. That has never happened. I took online papa John survey they said they would be in contact but haven’t heard from them either. Very disappointed, won’t be doing business again unless they fix this problem. There is bad reviews all over this location. Not optimistic

The manager is a very cool dude. Took a walk in order 2 hours past midnight. Felt very safe inside that establishment, too. They made a whole shaqaroni pretty quick, too.

When you pay extra for options, you should actually get those options. Extra sauce and extra cheese cost money. Our pizza had lass than normal sauce and less than normal cheese. Very unsatisfactory. Delivery driver was awesome. He got a fat tip.

After waiting longer than scheduled time, which I understand, pizza delivery driver came to my door and forgot my pizza completely. Driver had a bad attitude and did not care for the mistake he made. I told him to just cancel order and he threw his arms up in the air as if him could care less. Never ordering from this location again ?

I’d like to start by saying that I worked for Papa John’s for 2 years and I’m more than adequately informed about how the food should look/taste and how to treat customers.
I ordered a 6 cheese Tuscan pizza and breadsticks through DoorDash for pickup. I substituted the marinara that comes with the sticks for a zesty sauce. I placed the order at 11 am knowing they would be super busy by 6 when I needed it, and my fiancé picked it up. The 6 cheese pizza was quite obviously a 1 cheese pizza. (You can tell because the 6 cheese has oregano on top and you can actually smell the different cheeses.) The breadsticks were dry, and I do not mean because they had been sitting for a while, but dry as in never touched garlic sauce in their short, doughy little lives in about 50% of the sticks. I should mention that these were my favorite items when I worked there, so I’m intimately familiar with how they should taste as well. The dipping sauce I received was marinara. Clearly, someone was not paying any attention to the order whatsoever.
I tried calling the store—twice. Once it went through the automated system, it promptly disconnected rather than ringing through, leaving me staring into a dead phone—twice.
I went into the DoorDash app to see if anything could be done, but lo and behold, they had never completed the order on the store’s end, showing that it was ready for pick up.
Despite the pouring rain, I drove back to the store and explained as politely and reasonably as I could (although being somewhat louder than I intended because after extended periods working beside a pizza oven, I am a bit deaf!), that the order I was holding was not the order I placed. The general manager (you can always tell; they wear grey shirts instead of red) actually ARGUED with me, saying that because he made the pizza himself, it was correct. (News flash: general managers can make mistakes, too!) I tried to show him the paper thin layer of cheese and he pointed out the tiny bit of orange grease that comes from melted cheese, saying that it was cheddar. I showed him the breadsticks that were clearly nothing but dough in most areas and he tried to tell me it was because the order was an hour old. I’m still trying to coax my eyes out from the back of my head. I’ve seen orders that never got picked up and spent the entire night on a warmer and even then, you can clearly see and taste the garlic butter. I asked if he would remake the order and he flatly said no and told me I could get a refund through DoorDash, at which point I explained that they had never completed the order. After grudgingly fiddling with the tablet, he completed it and DoorDash refunded $10 of the $30 order that was completely wrong.
Please stop tolerating and patronizing businesses that obviously just don’t care. We’re lowering the standard for customer service from the bare minimum to even less than that ever since COVID hit. We as the public are the only ones that have the power to change this.
I highly recommend Domino’s in McAlpin square as an alternative for inexpensive pizza. Or if you’re looking for something on a posher level, try Screaming Mimi’s or Vinnie Van Go-Go’s downtown or Allyanah’s on south side.

Pizza was crazy salty and like cardboard. "New York style" left me without dinner it was so bad. I chose to be hungry instead of eating it. Waste of money on already over priced garbage.

I ordered from here Monday night. $65 order and we had 2 pepperoni pizzas included in that order. We didn’t realize the pepperonis were sour and old until after we done ate. I knew it didn’t taste right when I was eating but it was our first time eating with the cheese garlic bread crust so we just thought it might just be that. Then 2 hours passed by and constantly throwing up and stomach upset and having sharp pains too. Go to the hospital because I started running a fever and then my son started getting sick. We was told it was food poisoning and that is the only thing I hate that whole day was that pizza. Them pepperonis was sour and old and I tried to call the store multiple times and got no answer. So I just wanted to put this out here because this is the first time I’ve ever had a problem with papa johns and with them not answering the phone being able to fix this problem is what made me come on here and leave this !

Delivery guy left my pizza on the ground outside without knocking, didn’t know my pizza was out there for who knows how long, it was cold and there was an ant on it. Tried to call the store probably seven times to complain and my call never went through.

The driver tracker notified my deliver person had delivered my pizza, but I made no contact with anyone and there was no pizza delivered. I called the store 5 times, and got no answer. 30 minutes later, the guy shows up and brings me mountain dews that i did not order. He just said “we were out of pepsi, so you got mountain dew” really matter of factly. First of all, dont be rude. Second, dont just assume i want mountain dews. I dont like mountain dew. Bring what i order or call me and tell me you dont have it - then refund me. Garbage service. Pizza was luke warm at best
