We reserved via Open Table and were seated and served right away at 4:45. It was somewhat crowded for Easter, but our section somewhat cleared out by the time we placed our order. The world famous hush puppies took too long to come out; I was about to riot lol they're hush puppies are the best, everyone knows that.We had a new waitress who was pleasant, Lindsey. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits, my friend ordered the Shrimp Zaren. It felt like an hour wait, but I didn't clock how long it actually took. When our food arrived, the Zaren looked dry and tasted bland, so my friend asked for the Cajun sauce I got, because my dish was BANGIN'!Since we already felt like we were waiting a while for our entrees, my friend was impatient waiting for Lindsey to return to check on our satisfaction. She found a hostess to ask for the sauce, heated to reheat the now cool plate. Lindsey finally made it over and forgot to refill our water glasses, probably distraught to learn some of her guests were displeased with their meal; maybe we were her first. My friend asked for the manager who worked out getting her a Shrimp & Grits plate with Linguine instead. Delicious and hot. A two-hour evening overall.I thought I wanted to try the Zaren, but I like pasta with sauce, so I'm not so sure anymore. I'd return for the Shrimp & Grits though!SN: there's a seasoned waitress there who can balance a saucer on her knuckle. PROPS!

Excellent meals - fresh grilled tuna was delicious!!! Great waitress who grew up in the area and told us where to see some historic homes. Delightful views.

What a great find! This restaurant was excellent. We had a reservation for 7:15, but we ended up with nothing to do and showed up about 5:30 to see if we would get in early. They seated us right away. The view from our table was spectacular! You can see the intercostal and it was low tide, so we could see all the oyster deposits on the shore, along with fish jumping out of the water and birds. Our waitress had great recommendations and was great with our kids too, taking their orders first and getting their food out quickly.Of course we had some oysters. We also had grouper with champagne butter and crab stuffed tilapia. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The portion sizes were good too. We didn’t have leftovers, but that was mostly because it tasted so good.So happy to have found this place. It was our nixed evening in Savannah.

So I had a reservation for a group of 7 people for me and my friends when the sat us the table was prepared for 6 people so we asked for a bigger tablethe manager on duty said he didn’t have a bigger table so we asked could we put a table together that was similar to the table next to us the manager replied that we could not because it would block the walk way for the waitersI responded to the manager and said if we take the tables and put it next to the table that’s already set up the same way how would our table our table block the walk way but not the table next to us he didn’t have an explanation for it and said :to make a long story short we can’t do it.At this point my friends and I feel that we are being racially profiled and decided to leave while we were leaving I asked for a corporate number so that I can contact someone about my experience. He gives me the number and I called it while I was still at the restaurant a person answered but the number was to a residence who never heard of the restaurant.I then approached the manager and confronted him about the incorrect number another worker who claimed to be a manager said that the number was incorrect and gave me another number to callI’m not trusting anything they say anymore and decided to voice my concerns and let everyone know that this place is shady I even asked the manager was it the restaurant’s policy about the tables and the manager responded no it’s my decision so to me it feels like he could move the tables for the all-white group that was sitting next to us but not the group of blacks that wanted to sit and eat next to them.

Beautiful views! The Tilapia (not usually my fave) was really nicely done. A light Alfredo sauce over pasta and sautéed spinach. Wouldn’t recommend the Sesame Tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes, though the seaweed salad that topped it was delicious. And they serve the most addicting little hush puppies with honey butter. A nice family friendly spot that’s not fussy.

Great food. Great views. Helpful staff. A must visit if you want something in Savannah that isn't part of busy downtown. We loved it.

Pearl’s impressed us on every level… bar drinks updated seasonally, appetizers, hush puppies free for everyone, a full seafood menu, a couple land options, and wonderful service. We loved the view of the water and plenty of tables by the windows. We’ll absolutely be back! The empty plate photo is the aftermath of my 1lb of delicious peel and eat shrimp ? ??

Delicious with great service. First visit since we lived here 16 yrs. ago. Sadly, 4-days later (Aug 2022), the restaurant burned. Unsure of its future at this point.

There's a kicker at the end of this, so read on. There was quite a wait this past Saturday night, Aug.6, but we were out of options and wanted to visit with family here for the first time in probably 17 years! So we waited an hour in the bar. At least it was worth it. The delicious free hush puppies out first, the crab-stuffed flounder that our server made sure to nicely split & plate separately for wife and me. All great. Here's the sad conclusion though - 4 days later, we saw Savannah friends on Facebook posting from a middle of the night conflagration consuming this pine-wood restaurant over the marsh! I hope they rebuild! And how fortunate we were to revisit this once-regular hangout one more time before this tragic event.

As a Savannahian of 30 years, Pearl’s was my go-to favorite when friends and family visited. This week, the restaurant was severely damaged from a fire and closed indefinitely. There has been no announcement yet if it will be rebuilt.

Had a wonderful experience due to great waiter, Houston, good food and drinks. Sat by the window overlooking the creek. It's a shame that the venue caught fire and was destroyed after such a good experience.

What a lovely restaurant this is in the middle of Savannah midtown’ residential area. They have a nice-sized parking lot across street. We felt so welcomed here especially after a long day of driving. The hostess and waitress showed true Southern hospitality. They were so charming. The decor was warm and alluring. We enjoyed the hush puppies which is their version of bread. They taste like donuts with butter. We had drinks at first snd crispy Parmesan calamari. Large portion. I then had the Parmesan Grouper. I was impressed and very full. Unfortunately I had no room for dessert. I really enjoyed our experience here.
