Thus was my first time at a cat cafe and it was very cute! I loved the cats! Once entering, you can purchase a drink of soda, tea, coffee, or wine, then select 30 minutes or 1 hr of cat time. The cats are in a separate enclosed area, with chairs, couches, toys, cat beds, and cat trees. The cats are available for adoption and look to vary in age from under a year to several years old.

This was such a fun time! We booked ahead and were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The coffee drinks were yummy with plenty of syrups, sweeteners, and creamers to add. They seemed to have a decent selection of beers and maybe wines. We spent an hour cuddling, playing with, and snuggling beautiful cats. We were lucky that most of them were awake. The play area is plenty big enough for ourselves and the others that went in at our time. There's comfortable seating to relax and chat or play games while visiting the cats. Everything was clean and the cats were obviously well cared for. This was a big highlight for our trip to Savannah!

It has been a lot life dream to visit a cat cafe so I pounced to the idea of visiting this one. Loved every second spent here with the kitties. It was a great experience and the staff were nice and friendly. All the kitties had unique personalities and they were so much fun to watch and play with. If you need a boost of serotonin, this is the perfect place to get it. Make sure to read the instructions and follow their rules.

Pounce is SUCH a vibe. The staff is awesome and the cats are so happy there- you can tell the owner and staff really care for the animals. 10/10 every time I go.
Most of the one star reviews I see are disgruntled people who either 1. Are annoyed at the fact that they didn’t make reservations and it’s full when they arrive or 2. Are annoyed that they are told they can’t adopt a certain cat. It’s up to the discretion of the staff to decide if they are ok with someone adopting for a multitude of reasons. So, these reviews are really weird- keep this in mind if you’re reading through them.

It was soo fun to pet and play with the cats. It was a great experience to be with cats with all different personalities. They give you 1 hour or 30 minutes to play with the cats.They give you all kinds of toys.But one problem most of the cats bit or scratched. The only cats that didn’t bite or scratch was Bliss, Rainbow, Porthos, duke, coradell, and duchess. But even with the minor difficulties this was a great opportunity to hang out with cats, so I recommend pounce the cat cafe for you.

Couple weeks ago, walked in with a friend to see some cats. We were in town visiting. Have never been to a cat cafe, it sounded cool. Staff snapped at us saying we had to make a reservation and they were fully booked. Seemed thoroughly annoyed that we were there. Maybe having a bad day? Idk, not a reason to take it out on strangers.
The “cafe” only had liquor and regular drinks. No pastries. Disappointing. We went to the website to book for another day, but nothing worked for our schedule. The way the FAQ was written on the website was ….. odd. It read like an angsty teen wrote it. Between the website, the catty attitudes from the staff, and the lack of any cafe items at a cafe, we got bad vibes and left. We expected some cattitude from the cats, not the people working there.
They should switch to appointment only—especially if staff is going to be rude when people are unaware about reservations. An appt only system would prevent people from walking in expecting to see cats, and save many unsuspecting customers from the wrath of the employees, haha
Looking at other reviews, this place has a documented history of rude staff with the owner regularly excusing unprofessional behavior from them. I’ve never seen a business owner have such nasty and petty responses. These folks get to care for cats everyday, yet they’re grumpy and often rude? I don’t understand¿? Cats were super cute tho :3

I will always give a Cat Cafe 5-stars if they are nice people and it's clean, which this is. Pounce is in a convenient area, very reasonably priced, and getting a free coffee was a bonus.
That said, they could work on a few things: 1) Three or four of the cats were getting very territorial b/c Pounce didn't have enough litter boxes for the number of cats in there. 2) It appeared that none of the cats, especially the younger ones, had their nails ever trimmed. As a result they were getting caught on everything. 3) They only had 1 string-like toy in there, which was the only toy that any of them responded to. I recommend adding some string or long flexible feathery toys in the play area.

Definitely not worth the money. It wasn’t even that busy and the guy with the piercings never told us we could do a walk in 30 mins. He just booked us an hour for later in the day. By the time we got to our reservation, the cats were tired and just sleeping. I grew up with cats and they seemed so bored and stressful. Not a great environment. We left after like 20 minutes.
