From greeting to table was off putting, at best. Not busy, plenty of tables inside and out but waited 30 minutes to get seated. No smiles at bar, hostess desk. Waitress was decent. Chicken was barely warm, sent back and ate separately from my husband, just to get a new plate of barely warm chicken. Definitely a new plate so not sure if they just re-plated same chicken. Given the high level of dining last few days, this was not in line with what we expected. The location and atmosphere made us hopeful! Very disappointed!

I stopped at Rhett for a business meeting and thought it was a wonderful restraunt to meet and eat inside or outside. The market fish was an excellently composed dish. The fried okra and grits croutons on the ceasar were a delightful twist on a classic. I thought the ciopinno was a little more sweet than savory, but I don't have a local palette, so... I thought it was an overall great experience and will be back to try a few more things I didn't have room for.Pt. 2 Went back to try the BBQ octopus. Phenomenal. Highly recommended.Parking: ? Downtown Savannah is horrible for parking during dinner hours.

Full disclaimer - this wasn’t our first choice, but we forgot it was prom night downtown. The food was solid. For a hotel, the food was very good (I travel for work weekly, and I eat in a lot of hotel restaurants). The atmosphere was good, the musician was on the loud side, and even though we weren’t near him, we were constantly having to yell over the music to talk to one another. The highlight of the night, our server was fantastic. They did have a good bar selection, and the cocktails were on point. But, there are 30 other places in town I’d go to before I go back here. Especially for the price.

The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. The loaded grits are a slam dunk. Egg was a little runny for my taste, but beggars can’t be choosers. Once I broke the egg yolk and mixed everything I couldn’t tell. Clean plate club! Also ordered the housemade pancakes with the peach compote… to die for❤️ the fruity, zesty citrus, creamy mascarpone. Excellent breakfast dessert.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is excellent! The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. Rhett Smash Burger and a old Bay French Fries were delicious and filling. Wife says the Mushroom Risotto was amazing. This is a must go in Savanaha! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Quite a few options for vegetarians, seafood and fish options, as well as Mushroom Risotto and more.

The good was great! The service was a bit over bearing though. It seemed like every few minutes she was interrupting a conversation we were having. The atmosphere was good.

Dinner was wonderful! Brussel sprouts off the chart! Short ribs outstanding, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and collards were excellent. Went for breakfast the next day and had chicken and waffles, not up to par, waffles blah, chicken tenders overcooked and dry, syrup was way too spicy.Parking: Nothing free here

This was a stop on our food tour. We had the she crab soup and let me tell you, it was amazing! I should’ve come back to grab one more to go, ha! Service was exceptional as well. They also have a very nice bar, where we sat to enjoy our food. Next time we are in Savannah, we’ll definitely plan on dinner here in which I will give a more in depth review. Cannot wait to come back! ? Great place!

*AN ABSOLUTE MUST-VISIT FOR ANY SAVANNAH VISITOR OR LOCAL*First and foremost, WOW! My wife and I just wrapped up our honeymoon trip to Savannah - a city we've frequented over recent years. With such a significant trip, we wanted to try a few new restaurants and bars that we either hadn't visited in the past or that were newer, at least to our knowledge. Rhett was at the top of our list and came highly recommended from our bed and breakfast. We made a reservation for 6:30pm, arrived at 6:00pm, and sat immediately without hesitation or issue. Admittedly, we were the only people [no hyperbole - the ONLY people] in the restaurant at the time, so we would've been surprised otherwise. But being the literal only table sat for the first 60 minutes of our dining experience led to such a fantastic, exclusive, behind-the-scenes feeling night.Rosie was our server and she was extraordinary. Fantastic personality, great knowledge both of Rhett and other Savannah eateries, and was so welcoming and kind to us on our visit. She made some great recommendations that guided our order and everything we had was unbelievably good. The brut offered in their 'Sparkling Hour', hush puppies, calamari, fried chicken, short rib, and their deserts were all delectible.Sincerely, everything was flawless. Menu, vibes, service. Top. To. Bottom. Perfection.Genuinely, we struggled to return to our bed and breakfast and chat with the hotel manager about the location, because (being that it was so slow) we were unsure if Rhett was a hidden gem, or if it was just due to more of an 'off-season' in Savannah. And now, we are yearning for Rhett to be busy enough to where they become/remain a Savannah [and Plant Riverside] STAPLE, but we also - selfishly - always want the 'exclusive' experience we had to remain. All of this to say, if you're visiting Savannah and enjoy a well-decorated restaurant with great southern plates and apps, and delicious deserts, Rhett needs to be at the top of your list.
