The pecan bourbon salmon was delicious, the lobster and crab bisque was good. The service was great!
Our experience was as close to perfect as possible! The parking was across the street from the restaurant, and the view was stunning of the river through the large windows. The food was fantastic and the best we've ever eaten in Savannah! The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back!
If I could rate it with a negative star I would. Where do I start? 1st. Our server Clint, was extremely short with his deliveries- and when asked questions about the menu- it was our 1st time dining there and we were visiting from out of state. OI ordered the crab cakes, broccoli and hericot verts. What I received were 2 deep fried pieces of gummy fish cakes- some greasy frozen green beans ad over cooked broccoli - non of it had any flavor! The peach beverage I ordered also lacked flavor. My date had the chicken breast - it was so dry. The only positive thing about the meal were the fried green tomatoes - they were freshly fried and had flavor. Our entrees were barely lukewarm. Clint also needs coaching on sanitation and cleanliness. I witnessed him constantly rubbed his nose, then grabbing plates and glasses- or rubbing his hair and doing the same. I left without finishing my meal I was so disgusted. I had higher expectations after seeing the 4 Star Rating on OpenTable and after learning who their chef was - but we def should have kept looking. Grossly disappointment all the way around!
Grouper was overdone. Shrimp and grits were a huge disappointment. I just ate the shrimp and left the overwhelming tomato mess covering the dry grits on the plate. The waiter was not forthcoming so I just asked for him to let the kitchen know. Who does that to shrimp and grits?
Dinner was a delicious southern meal. Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and collards. Our waitress was attentive and sweet.
The food was excellent! We had Carly, who was wonderful! The restaurant is on a great location. We will definitely eat here again!
Our waiter was the bar tender too. Our appetizers took so long and the scallops with bacon was completely cold while the plate was warm- which means the food was sitting on the back. The soup that was brought later was also, luke warm. I never send food back, but the service need to be much better

We had a wonderful lunch at River House Seafood today. The food was absolutely delicious. Started with the Crab and Shrimp Bisque, Fried Green Tomatos, Fried Chicken Sandwich w/ Pepper Jelly. Finished off with local beer and their famous punch. We were served by a restaurant professional named Ms Q. After being in the Buisness for 50 + years I truly appreciate great service and Ms Q delivers. Thank you so much for a fine meal and great service@

They literally give you two whole flounder fillets and they are excellent!! You can tell the fish is very fresh and cooked perfectly! The service is also excellent! Also the restaurant is beautiful inside with all the brick and the arches.

Just average. Food was bland, servers seemed less than thrilled to be there. Seemed like a tourist place. Wouldn't recommend.
Great dining experience. The only negative was the loud cars revving as the went down the street but this would be heard at every restaurant. We both had fish dishes and they were amazing.

The lobster and crab bisque was very good. The crabcakes were made with shredded crab (not lump) so be forewarned if you want the real deal. Had the fish of the day. Was good but when you have a filet that is Finn on the end, but click in the middle, it never is cooked evenly. It was just ok. Typical fish camp style food.
Was able to change our reservation to a sooner time without a problem. The grouper over mass potato was excellent. And so was the pecan caramel cheesecake! The resto was easy to get to and the ambiance was great. I highly recommend.
