Such delicious food! We ordered lunch for some of our shop today and it was phenomenal as usual. I had the chicken Parmesan for the first time and it’s probably my new favorite. 🤤

Average food not quite NY manhattan style as advertised in my opinion. I have a few suggestions and critiques- the size of the heros is abysmal. Ordered 2 and they were the size of a gas station hoagie for almost 20 bucks a pop. This is tri state area pricing but at the fraction of the size. One of my heros had a chicken cutlet on it I found to be quite thick almost like a tender?Cutlets should be much thinner, wider and well seasoned. The other thing was toppings that are advertised to come on the heros for the price you can’t put more of a quantity? Quite stingy … I mean it cost coins to do so this place is making a huge profit per hero it doesn’t cost much to throw more on. You best bet in reviewing a sandwich I paid I almost 20 bucks for questionable sizing for the price.

Terrible business etiquette. I put in an order for 2 pounds of seafood salad for Christmas Eve. When I got home with the order I noticed that the container was not full. I decided to weigh the order because I paid 64$ for 2lbs of seafood salad and it visibly looked light. The receipt said 2lbs of seafood salad at 32$ a pound. Actual weight showed less than 1.25 pounds. I called the owner because I believed this was an honest mistake and that maybe one of the containers was accidentally missing from the order. The owner informed me that even though he charges $32 a pound, the actual weight may vary because he actually charges 64$ by quart volume and not by weight. I informed him that in either case I got taken advantage of, the quart wasn't full and I was missing 3/4 of a pound. He told me that this is how it goes, that I need to educate myself on how quart containers work, and that I was the only person that ever weighed his product. I am well versed in NY deli etiquette and typically you pay per pound for what you order. The product is put into a quart container and weighed. Sometimes you get more, sometimes less, but you always pay for what you get. Or there is a set price for a quart container which should be full. This deli confidently charges you for what you don't get, in this case I paid 64$ for 1.22lbs of seafood salad. As the owner said, this is not a mistake and what the customer should expect. The owner said he didn't have time to argue with me and I got refunded for the missing 1lb but the owners attitude shows that this was no mistake and more customers should be aware that they may be getting taken advantage of. Will never order from them again. Bad business etiquette.

Authentic New Yorker Deli.

I'm down here visiting family. I'm from the Bronx in NYC. I can vouch for this place. The Reuben, the Pastrami, the Baconeggand cheese (yes all one word), and the Bagels (hard to recreate outside of NY) are on point. I'm glad to have found this little gem for my brother lives here in Savannah. A little slice of NY down south.

I have to tell everyone how amazing these folks are!!
We drove in from Effingham County for the Italian festival and found that they close at 3 so the festival was over at 3.
Big bummer but Matthew opened the door and explained and had some canollis and asked if we would like them as they were going to be tossed, no please don't!!!!
Anyways we met the manager Olivia and another employee named Loni,Olivia explained her sorrow we had driven so far for nothing and that there was actually a lot of food going to the trash can and if we wanted it we were welcome to it.
My jaw dropped, we were given canollis, lobster tail pastries,2 meatball Parm heroes, and a pan of meatball Parm, it was a ton of food and let me tell you it's delicious!!
I can't say enough about the absolute kindness and generosity that was given to my wife and I, I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu for sure and to know it's crafted by suck awesome people well hell I can't wait to visit with them again. Thank you again Olivia, Matthew, and Loni for showing me there are still truly kind people in the world!!!

The pork roll egg and cheese is great and reminds me of being home in New Jersey. They are generous with the amount of pork roll too! The subs are also really good, plus the staff is always the friendliest.

Not bad, not great either... Especially for the money. At nearly 20 dollars a sandwich, I expected a little more.

Better than a Subway, but about the same as a Larry's franchise sandwich-kinda bland.

My son couldn't make it home for his birthday. They carry items that are native to Staten Island, NY. I called Rocky's and explained the situation. They went out of their way, above and beyond, to help me make his birthday special for him. He was super surprised and extremely happy. I can't wait to visit Savannah and go to Rocky's in person so I can thank them once again!

We absolutely LOVE Rocky's NY Deli & Italian Catering! Whenever our family from NYC visits, this is the first place we bring them because it makes them feel right at home. We also just go regularly because it is always top of mind. The owner truly gets what it means to deliver authentic NYC flavors, and we have so much respect for him and his dedication. Our Grandma even has flashbacks of her old spots every time we step inside—she always grabs a bunch of goodies to stock her fridge because Rocky’s has the best NYC foods to go. Everything here is top-notch, especially when washed down with a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry soda, which is hands down the best soda known to man. If you’re craving genuine NYC eats, Rocky’s is where it’s at! ?? #RockysNYDeli #NYCEats #DrBrownsSoda #FamilyFavorite
