Came here on a night after work with some colleagues for a nightcap and to watch the game. We were greeted by an enthusiastic bartender and I was equally enthused to find out they had rumplemintz. It’s a solid dive bar with pool tables and lots of bar seating. I liked how unpretentious it was, and that the staff were friendly. We had a few shots and couple round of drinks and to my surprise our tab was very affordable. Not used to seeing that at bars lately I thought that was a plus! It may be one of my go to bars in Savanah when I’m back for work!
Great service
It was an ok experience except when the woman behind the bar was very rude when two of our party very politely asked her if she could retrieve the pool table ball that accidentally rolled behind the bar when they were playing pool. I don't know her name but she was wearing all black the evening of May 23, 2025. Rude service equals no repeat business.
We go every time we are in town...not to mention, our last name is Rutter
The Bouncer at the door said my friend’s Texas ID was fake and screamed at us to leave the premises. I asked to speak to the manager because the ID was not fake and we wanted a second opinion. However, the Bouncer refused and continued to scream at me and my friends while waving his hands at us. Please hire someone that knows 1) how to do their job correctly 2) is respectful to women 3) escalates concerns to their supervisor. My friends and I went to multiple bars throughout the weekend and this is the only bar that can’t read a ID correctly.
It’s surprising that there are so many other reviews with this same issue. Dear management, do better!! This is obviously a problem.
Loved our experience! Lane is the best!
Never been ignored at the bar on a Saturday night while the bartender had a text conversation. Do not recommend!
Even though he’s team Stefan, Sal is the real deal. 10/10 bartender
Drinks were cold and served fast.
It was nice to find a bar that actually looked like a bar in downtown Savannah.
Little pricey but a blast. The bartenders were fun, Kyle and Katie ( I think was her name) great folks!

Stopped by for a beer. Was a cool spot to listen to music and grab a drink. I went on a Wednesday at about 7 PM. Was pretty dead as there was an other four people at the bar. Was still a good spot to hang out.

Rusty Rudders, where do I start. I was visiting Savannah for the first time and in search for the perfect dive bar. If you’ve been to this city you know it can be overwhelming when it comes to choosing a bar since there are over 100 all within walking distance of eachother. My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place and let me tell you, we found the Taj Mahal of dive bars. Super clean, great music, affordable drinks, and the best part were our bartenders Chandler and Lane. They were welcoming, poured up excellent cocktails, and fun to be around. An absolute dynamic duo behind the bar. Chandler took the time to write down multiple recommendations of bars, restaurants, and sights to see around town. This place was one of the highlights of my trip. 10/10 recommend!
