The blonde waitress snapped and yelled at my autistic son because he asked how old she was. We immediately got up and left. They were really busy and she looked angry when she saw us walk in. This is NOT a safe place for people with disabilities.

first and last time visiting this one. when we walked in, our waitress was eating a whole meal (understandable, sometimes you don’t have time to eat) but then kept coming to the table still chewing with her mouth full. then, my husband found 2 hairs in his food and had to have it remade. even all of these things aside, the food just wasn’t good. our appetizer of tempura veggies was the only thing we enjoyed but definitely not enough to come back.

I ordered a sushi lunch: Shrimp tempura, and Boston roll. Both Rolls were basic/mid Even though the reviews stated otherwise. I’ve had way better sushi for the same price elsewhere

This is a hole in the wall type restaurant with decent sushi. Price is reasonable. They can even accommodate a 8-12 group need, but if a group is already there and you have a party of similar size, then your chance of sitting together would be slim to none. Not a problem, but just a note to set your expectation and an idea of the size of the dining room.

I have been eating here for years and never had any serious complaints. Their staff is friendly and courteous. Their food is delicious. The prices are fair. I can't imagine wanting any more.

I tried this place for the first time tonight & it was absolutely horrible. I got the steak & shrimp dinner. I asked for the steak to be medium-well with fried rice. The steak was burnt & the so-called fried rice was white rice with an egg scrambled in it & a shake or 2 of soy sauce to make the rice appear to be browned but there was nothing fried about the rice. This is the worse "hibachi" restaurant I've ever been to. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You'll be better off at a buffet. But that's what I get from going in when clearly they didn't have any business on a Friday evening.

I lived in Savanah 10 years ago and this was a go to place. So while traveling south from Connecticut to Florida, I decided to have lunch in Savanah. The place has changed a little but was still excellent. The food and service were everything I hoped for and more. So nice to have a great experience there again. Will drop in anytime I'm in the area. Best Sushi I've had in years.

Always a good experience here.
The sushi is always fresh and tasty.
Their miso and ginger salad dressing is always full of delicious flavor.

Tempura is good, the sushi/tempura box combos always fill me up. You can’t go wrong with the sushi/sashimi combos either.

I recently visited Sakura Sushi in Savannah. The experience was okay overall. The atmosphere was decent but nothing particularly special. I ordered the Super Sushi Deluxe. While the presentation and plating were fun and visually appealing, the quality and taste of the sushi were just average at best. With the exceptionally high reviews, I was expecting better than average, but it was just “mid.” I would probably recommend sticking with the staples and most popular dishes to avoid being disappointed.

I put "add some more vinegar" inside the special instructions. While rechecking with the waitress, she said that a small cup of white vinegar would be an extra $0.75. I said, "It's fine. I'll give it a pass." She misunderstood me and charged me $0.75. Realizing that, I asked her to cancel the transaction. She insisted that since my order was placed through DoorDash, she needed to contact DoorDash customer service to give me the refund. I said this is a business to Doordash conversion, I should leave when I am not in charge of anything. She insisted that I stay with her until refund is processed. I waited with her until my food got cold. I asked her if she could just give me $0.75 from the restaurant so I could leave. She refused and I had to wait for nothing. Time passed, she finally asked a coworker how to deal with this situation, and accepted my advice I offered at the beginning. I was charged $0.81 after tax and received 3 quarters as a return along with my cold food. I walked out in anger. I will never, ever come back to this restaurant again.I know no one wants it to happen, but no customer should accept this horrible experience.
