Sam Snead's Savannah

10/25/2025 order St. Louis ribs they was over cooked. Told the waitress, she took the plate back to the kitchen. Got the bill and I was still charged for the ribs. I paid the bill. I will never go back there to eat. The food quality has gone down over the last years.

I was excited all day about going out to laugh with my friends starting out my birthday weekend!
This was my 2nd visit being my 1st visit was excellent I anticipated the same or an even better experience. A reservation was made again I mention it was my pre birthday with 2 of my special sister/friends. It started off great the lady who seated us had a big smile and welcomed us to our reserved area. Appetizers were ordered first they came out & were delicious . Now it’s time for the food to come out unfortunately my food was not ready (I only ordered the fried wings and a a side of mashed potatoes) I waited & waited while my friends ate their food. It finally arrived but sauce was on my wings (I ordered half no sauce on the wings buffalo sauce on side so I can control the spice ) it went back & the wait starts again. By the time my food arrived my friends were finished eating so I requested a to go box. At this point I was annoyed & just ready to go home
(I must mention that the young man that bought my food out had such great mannerism he apologized with love)
The checks were bought to the table the waitress apologized with no type of love, compassion, compensation example let me get you a dessert let me talk to the manager about this nothing. This was not a good experience but I will try it again preferably on a Sunday afternoon.

When we arrived it did not take long to be seated. We didn't receive any service for our table of 4 for about 20 minutes. The table next to us received their water before and service and we were the first to be seated. All in all we were there 3 hours and didn't want to be. The food was okay. Probably won't be back

Had the prime rib special. It was good but I have to say I have had better. The outer crust didn't seem to have the good and tasty spice finish. The salad and potatoes were excellent and the pecan dessert special was to die for. Complimentary coffee after dinner was a very nice touch. Service was exceptional and as a golf duffer I always enjoy the golf memorabilia.

Geared toward golfers, but everyone is welcome. The fish was great. A little pricey but very good.

Ordered take out and the food was just - eh. We were staying at the hotel next door with our fussy baby so instead of going in e decided to order Togo and the experience was not the best… showed up 10 minutes after ordering and by the time the food got back to the room it was cold.

Fries were like cardboard and my burger came with no bun?? I’m not sure why there was no bun with my burger but I was disappointed and had to eat just the meat with my fork. Got the side ceaser and the dressing was extremely watery.

Over all blah experience. It probably is better dining in.

Stopped here for a couple of pre-flight drinks and really liked the decor. It is filled with Sam Snead memorabilia and it's very cool. I didn't get anything to eat, but the dishes I saw looked and smelled delicious.

This place was right next to the hotel I stayed in and I wanted to see what the host was raving about.

I walked in to a great ambiance and a great server, Christy. She was very personable and friendly from the beginning while taking my to-go order. Two other staff members, Lisa and Erin, were absolutely a joy to joke with and get great suggestions. Per their suggestions, I even ordered dessert.

I ordered a Hole In One burger and a Kentucky Bourbon and chocolate pecan pie something (I definitely forgot all the names). The burger was amazing and cooked to my exact temperature and flavor. It was a VERY good burger! But the PIE...WHEW. I'm not sure what was in the pie but I almost went right back to get another piece. It was GOOD. And I mean GOOD!!

I've never been to this restaurant ever but it came across very welcoming with a nice, opulent feel and ambiance. I honestly felt very elite going there, lol, but the staff (Christy, Lisa, and Erin) were very down to earth and welcoming. I hope they are there the next time I go. Erin, I'll get myself a cranberry juice just for me (insider, lol).

I don't usually leave reviews but this experience was an exception. I had the special which was the prime rib cooked perfectly with mashed potatoes. Everything was perfect. Taylor was a perfect server. Honestly 11/10. She was patient in explaining everything and she was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Taylor if you read this, great job, you were the best server I've had in a long time. Between the food and the exceptional service I will be back and I will be asking for Taylor.

Bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was pretty generic for a steakhouse. My steak was cooked unevenly. I ordered medium, one portion was blue the other med-well

Probably the best steak I have ever eaten in Savannah! Atmosphere is great. Nice low lighting to enjoy an intimate meal or sit at the bar and watch sports. I like sitting at the tables off the the left of the bar. I can still be comfortable and watch some sports. The drinks were delicious and also the after dinner coffee drinks were amazing! I come here each time I'm in town. Love the food and the waiters are really personable.
