Stopped in to pick up lunch to go. People standing in line to order without masks. When I inquired of management why they weren’t enforcing mask mandate I got a shrug. Will not go back now or when Covid is a distant memory. Inexcusable

We moved here from Western NC, and love our pulled pork and all of the sides that come along with it. Sandfly is the best we've had in Savannah, with deliciously smoked and tender pulled pork. Sides are outstanding, including fries. Brunswick strew is also very good with generous portion.

The further you drive out from central Savannah, the food gets cheaper, better, and with bigger portions...Sandfly BBQ hits all three! This fun little BBQ is inside an old train streamliner car filled matching vintage Americana decor, and staffed with friendly southerners.

I've eaten here twice, and both times I think I was the only tourist. $16 gets you a hearty two meat combination, I got the chicken and beef brisket, both of which were smokey , juicy, and delicious. Sides of Mac N Cheese, collard greens, and fried okra are the perfect southern side stables to go with it.$18 Smoked Pork Loin ribs, for my second I thoroughly enjoyed these fall of the bone smokey ribs, get them if they're available! There's also a good variety of beers on tap to wash it all down.

Best bbq in Savannah this place is so fresh and amazing meat the quality was very impressive. I enjoyed this place a lot, definitely a must try even if your not feeling bbq I promise you won’t regret coming here. The brisket was the best brisket I’ve ever had and those pork fries are to die for!

Whenever we travel, I try to find the best foodie experiences for my fiance. My research steered me in the right direction and we ended up at Sandfly BBQ. My fiance was in absolute heaven with his brisket and mac n' cheese. I LOVED my pulled pork sandwich! To this day, my fiance still says it's the best barbecue he's ever had!

Short trip to Savannah with so many places to choose from we ultimately chose this place due to the proximity to the park and the sole fact it's in a streamliner. Atmosphere was eccentric mixed with a touch of yesteryear. Personalized dollar bills & other currency makes up a wallpaper-esque vibe of the inside of the streamliner. Very cool to look at.

Atmosphere was eccentric mixed with a touch of yesteryear. Personalized dollar bills & other currency makes up a wallpaper-esque vibe of the inside of the streamliner. Very cool to look at. Had the Two Meat Combo with Sausage & Pulled Pork, the sausage had a great snap of the casing, excellent. The pulled pork was great, not the best ever, but up there. Cole slaw was nice and refreshing, mac & cheese was homemade and delicious. Also ordered the Buddy Burger and duck fat fries. Fries were next level. Service was on point, our waitress couldn't be friendlier. There was a parking lot, no need for parking garage. They also graciously offered military discount which we always appreciate. Kudos for also having cardboard takeaway containers and cups, and not having any styrofoam. I do wish the entrees such as the burger came with fries or a side option. $4 for a small $8 for a large side of fries is a bit much on top of a $9 burger. The place, windows and menus could probably use a bit of cleaning. Overall, we enjoyed it and would revisit.

Tessa was a great server. Mary the smoker/chef was delightful. She interacted with clients with such ease. The smoker out back is awesome. We had the hog wild platter $28 with local beer made in Savannah $5 each. The brisket and ribs were great. The sauces perfect. We had our first Brunswick stew - get this as it was the best. Fried pickles and banana peppers. Hit the gym tomorrow for sure. This diner car was so much fun. If you could give higher than 5 stars I’d do it.

Possibly the best barbeque I've ever had. We started with the fried Mac and cheese balls as an appetizer, then had brisket and pulled pork. The okra and onion rings were awesome as well. The place is an old rail car perched on an ample parking lot. 6-8 booths and 8-10 spots at the counter. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and service was speedy. Highly recommend it if you're into good barbeque.

Funky dinner, awesome pulled pork sandwich, great friendly service, good value for money. Well worth a visit!

Staff was amazing! However, the pulled pork and brisket were served cold and not flavorful. Recommend visiting another BBQ establishment.....
