I’ve been wanting to come here after seeing such great reviews from friends and today I finally did! The service was friendly, the decor is southern and charming, food was delicious! I started off with the mini peach cornbread (a must try) then I had the fried chicken, baby limas and mashed potatoes! All seasoned perfectly. I ended with the banana pudding (owners mom’s recipe) and it was perfect! Will 100% be back

I just had, hands down, the best meal I’ve had since I moved back to Savannah. I am sitting in my car in the parking lot writing this since I am almost immobile from a coma of deliciousness. No matter where you are in the area, Sandfly’s Southern Soul is worth the drive. I am absolutely blown away. Aside from the food, the hospitality is top notch. Melissa and Chelsea were so kind and personable. I had the fried chicken, collards, Mac and cheese, and limas. I couldn’t tell you that one thing was better than the other because sweet baby Jesus…every bite was flavorful. The sweet tea was perfect, and the banan pudding topped off the meal perfectly. I cannot wait to take my visitors here. Don’t sleep on this spot, y’all… And the price was on point!

Best fried chicken in Savannah, No question about it! It’s very crispy, not greasy, and full of flavor. If you haven’t tried it, GO! Open Monday- Friday, 11:00-3:00. Cozy location with an amazing staff. (and Dawn always treats me like long lost family- I adore her!!)

My husband and I, along with our neighbor, recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at SSS—and it far surpassed any expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff—Wayne, Dawn, and Richard among them. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. We all ordered the fried chicken, and it was absolutely the best we’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. It rivals any local Southern food buffet we’ve been to. The sides were just as memorable: creamy mac & cheese, tender baby limas, perfectly seasoned collard greens, and those incredible homemade little peach biscuits. We also tried the smoked chicken, which was another standout. To top it all off, the desserts were amazing—classic peach cobbler and banana pudding done just right. We can’t wait to go back!

I highly recommend Sandfly’s Southern Soul for the best “comfort food” you’ll ever have. It’s just like the food I enjoyed at my grandparent’s house every Sunday afternoon growing up. The fried chicken is truly the BEST I’ve ever had and all of the sides offered are incredible. It’s impossible to select a favorite! Quick service, friendly staff, super affordable and delicious! This is a hidden gem I’ll return to again and again when I’m in Savannah.

I love this place 🤩 The food is superb!! I had the fried chicken (it was so juicy and fresh) I didn’t even need hot sauce with it) white rice with gravy, collard greens, sweet potato casserole (some of the best I ever had) and sweet tea (I took the first sip and couldn’t stop drinking it).The peach mini muffins had me rubbing my thigh as I ate them lol. The food came out very quick (the staff make you feel welcomed and appreciated from the time you step foot in the door) I took my plate back to work and had everyone asking where I got the food from (cause the food smelled sooooo good) We are now planning to visit here again tomorrow. From the food, to the service and the staff everything was 5 Star 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟⭐️🌟Thank You Sandfly Southern Soul!!

walked in the door ordered food sat down and the food came out in just a few minutes. had the pot roast green bean and Mac & cheese food was amazing and the people are great definitely going back

I love this little local restaurant in Sandfly. If you like home cooked food this is a place you must try! They have specials each day. I love it when they have homemade chicken & dumplings! Reminds me of when my grandmother would make them for me. Another favorite is the home cooked pot roast with carrots and potatoes. The sides are really good, also! They are packed every time I go. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. This is a great compliment to the Sandfly area💕

First timer! Placed a to go order(hence the food all over the place in the plate). The pot roast is very flavorful and tender. The lima beans and cabbage are delicious! I hope to make it one day when they have cornbread dressing because I will be back!

Chicken,fish,butter bean,green beans,Mac & cheese,peach muffins,bannana pudding, all true soul delicious, oh my yes. You won't be sorry, prices are reasonable,service awesome. Great location. Gonna keep going til I've tried it all,then go back for more. Atmosphere so unique. You've gotta try it.
