We loved what we got. The brisket was tender and juicy, the sausage had great flavor, and the corn bread was excellent. We also liked all the BBQ flavors they offered at the table. The Mac and cheese was excellent and tasted homemade. I also loved their sweet peach tea.
How does a bbq resteraunt run out of bbq at 5pm on Monday?The food we did get, a cornbread bowl with briskit, was terrible. It looked like crusty trash that had been scraped off the bottom of old pans, thrown into a styrofoam box, and dropped on the floor. It was beyond bad.The 2 girls working were trying their hardest to help us, but they were significantly understaffed.We finally called it quits after waiting more than 30 mins for our 2 item order. Whoever owns this place, get it together... your restaurant was a disaster.

I really liked eating here. We all had brisket, the meat platter and sandwiches. Our sides were beans, mac and cheese and fries. I would suggest adding your own sauce to the beans and perhaps the mac and cheese. I used the spiciest and it was phenomenal.Open seating, make new friends!I also was glad it was a little off the main path and just different.
The collards were blah. Definitely not true southern collards. The mac and cheese was good. The meats was good - especially the sausage. The highlights were the corn bread and the sauces. It's hard to find good BBQ so overall I would recommend this place. Beware that they charge you for each sauce you want, none are included.

2 slices of brisket for 22.00.Seems pretty excessive to me.The collard greens were so salty as to be inedible.Ordered from here for a client lunch.Never again.Would not recommend under any circumstances.

We really liked the smoked turkey and pulled pork. We also got ribs and brisket. The baked beans, corn and Mac n cheese were highlights from our sides we got with the sampler.
We saw the great reviews at this spot and decided to stop by ourselves! We started off with the fried pickles and they were super crispy and delicious. We then got the 2 meat combo (brisket and smoked chicken — dark meat). They had just ran out of ribs which sucks because we were excited to try that. We got the Mac n cheese and the potato salad as the sides. Both of the sides were super good! We also got some sweet tea (one regular and one peach sweet tea) but it was very sweet so maybe next time we will dilute it with half unsweetened and half sweetened. Other than that, everything was great!
