sissy took me to lunch today to the infamous Shabazz Seafood we have a thing where we love to eat to at places that's been featured on TV! it was really good and alot of food, fish and shrimp was delicious juice was great as well my favorite was the crabcake OMGGGG yall check it out when in savannah !! #

Still the best whiting fish sandwich ever!!! It’s a must have every time I visit Savannah. I’ve been throughout the south and still haven’t found one like it… lots of catfish, but this is the only whiting fish. And their special tartar sauce is delicious!!!

Very salty shrimp couldn’t b even eat it although it was fried perfectly. The lady taking orders acted like she had an attitude with me for no reason but it was probably because I’m just a pretty female and she was jealous honestly.

Service was poor. It took over an hour to just be able to put our order in, and there were only 4 people ahead of me while we all waited for them to open. The shrimp was a little overcooked, the fish did have bones, and the fries were not very hot.. Since it was raining, we ate in our vehicle and it smelled like old grease. It took 3 days to get the smell in our vehicle. We will not be back.

I try to support our black businesses but I just left there at 12:10 business supposed to be open up at 12. I asked the old man how long is gonna be before he opens. He said he opens when he he he get ready to open. I asked him once again, when will you be open because you got two more other customers out front he said I told you I open when I open, I don’t understand why some of our black businesses have to be so damn rude and nasty. Now you don’t lost a business with me. I would never eat at your establishment.
It's 2024 making small errors in orders is unacceptable when the prices are always increasing....y'all forgot my fries for a combo... Y'all owe me so much in just the extra sauces I've purchased and never received or even the cuts y'all charge for but never perform.....Your base is the community in which you reside in.... Don't lose the base following the fame......if you're due to open at 12:00 you should be prepared to serve at 12:00.....left and went home and then placed order through doordash Time wasted......Time is priceless and you all should respect it.

After hearing the hype of the establishment having the best fish sandwich in town, I decided to try it. It wasn’t horrible however I will not be back. Was it the best fish sandwich I ever had? Definitely not. However, it is the only fish sandwich I had with bones in the fish. Once I noticed I could not eat any more. Fries were just okay & the drink was watered down.

This is a classic historical black owned business. Fresh fish sandwiches made with love. Every item you order is freshly made with the touch of Mr.Shabazz in the kitchen. I love how this secret piece of history still flourishes on MLK surrounded by growth. Talk about a secret sauce, baby. Never go to Savannah, Georgia without buying a fish sandwich. Grateful that we line up to support a great business.

Excellent!!! The Seafood platter was FRESH and seasoned well, the pie was so enjoyable...just wished the slice was bigger lol. Service is pleasant and inviting which makes it easier to visit again, which I may very soon!
