Stopped in for shepherd's pie and it didn't disappoint. It's served super hot in an individual little pot with a nice salad on the side. The homemade Ranch dressing was delicious. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive. Loved the whole vibe.
Love the 6 pence pub. Great English food and beer. Did have some trouble accepting foreign IDs drivers license. Wanted passport for proof, not everyone carries their passport on a night out for risk of loosing it, and some ship crew have to keep passports onboard. So plan ahead.
Atmosphere was great, food was meh, service was sparse. Saw our server all of 4 times. We ordered dessert after finishing and she instead brought our bill, with no dessert, she didn't stick around Long enough for us to ask so we had to wait till she came back for her money, when she appeared we looked at the bill then her and then the bill and she finally remembered that oh you ordered dessert, I'll be eight back with that.
