I would give the place 5 stars, but as a previous review noted, they aren't exactly friendly. I honestly felt like I was bothering them when I came to the window. A really bad vibe, and although I thought the food was great, I'm not sure I really want to go back. Hopefully somebody there will read these reviews and understand that your customers are doing YOU a favor, not the other way around.

Went there for hotdogs and barbecue with my grandchildren. My grandsons put their hands on the window counter and he rudely told him that was a $500 deal. I asked for hotdogs and he rudely bluntly said I don’t have hot dogs, so I ordered the barbecue salad, paid for salad thanked the man and without reply shut the window in my faceWill never return in my opinion one sad person with mediocre food.

Just wasn't that good. From the way they packed the tray to the dry brisket. Definitely unsatisfying for a southern BBQ place. Look elsewhere, you will find plenty better places. Pulled pork was the only decent thing and that was only decent is why I'm not giving it a 1 star.

This place kicks the SH!T out of Wiley's way overpriced dried up garbage and well Papa's BBQ?? That's just fast food BBQ meant for fellowship Sundays. This guy cooks to perfection with pride and it shows in every meal we get.

I’m not giving the low rating due to food, more about the rudeness . Thank them at least two or three times no response back not a word. Seemed annoyed that I was picking up a delivery order. After that I would not accept any orders from this place to deliver. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, however it made me uncomfortable to say the least .

This place should be called Holy Smoke! That's how good it is. I just got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Brunswick stew for $10 and it's worth every penny of it. The sandwich is huge oh, the sauce is good oh, and the Brunswick stew leaves nothing to be desired. Everybody needs to know how good this barbecue is!Kid-friendliness: I don't know about your kids but my kids love barbecue and they love this place.Parking: There is a very large parking lot that the BBQ trailer is parked in.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a large parking lot with a couple of handicap spots. People in wheelchairs or mobility chairs can roll right up to the window and order.

As always the food is excellent, unlike the tourist trap on Tybee their Brunswick Stew tastes like Brunswick Stew, not Vegetable Soup. The rib portions are large and falling off the bone.I’ve eaten Southern Kicks BBQ for years and it’s best !!!

Not a bad place. It's a food truck (not a sit-down restaurant) and the prices listed in the menus I saw were not correct. I got the brisket nachos and a side of Mac and cheese, but was given potato salad instead. It wasn't bad. The nachos had all of the brisket weighted on the bottom and the toppings were just thrown on top and the jalapenos were missing. Otherwise, it tasted good!

Maybe the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had at a bbq place. & whatever they season their chicken with is perfect!
Very friendly gentleman! Heard about him from a local and it didn’t disappoint. Tried brisket and pork and both were great. No where to sit so the meals are to go. Recommendation: put the sandwich bun on top of the food so the bottom doesn’t get soggy from the juices in the meat!

I bought a whole Boston Butt today for the first time and OMG, so delicious. I will definitely be back. The price was great and this butt fed my whole family and had plenty of leftovers.

I had been driving past this place for years before stopping today for lunch. Picked up a rib dinner plate and was pleasantly surprised by the cost, the portion size and the quality of the food. Got a half rack of ribs (six bones), with sides of macaroni and cheese and fried okra. The ribs were a little overdone for my taste, but the sauce was light and vinegary, which was to my liking. I hate when BBQ places smother the meat in thick sauce that's too sweet. This was like a lightly sweetened version of North Carolina-style sauce. The sides were the standouts, though. The macaroni was cheesy, creamy and loaded with black pepper. The okra was lightly breaded, salty, cooked to a light crunch but plenty soft to the bite. I hate I waited so long to give this place a try. Might go back tomorrow to try something else.
