Portions too small and advertising misleading, prices to high and bartender too busy slinging whiskey to care about taking care of a customers phone complains

The nachos were really good! But the pizza is awful! It is so thick and doughy and wayyy to much cheese. My friend and I each only had 1 slice took the rest to go and even my roommate could only eat 1 slice and threw out the rest.
I gave the service a 2 only because the host had us wait 40 minutes when we were told it would be 20 minutes before we would be seated when we saw 3 other groups come in after us and were seated. If I didn't ask questions on why we were still there I don't know how long we would have been still waiting. Other than that, The waitress and food was great. Also they give you such a big portion of it!! Definitely worth the money!!

Spanky’s had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The lunch crowd was pretty big, which means I can only assume their food is pretty good…as long as you don’t get the pizza. The pizza, which took 45 minutes to come out, actually lowered my self esteem after I ate it. Our whole group ate only one piece and then threw it all away. We had three different types of pizza, all of which were more disappointing than the last. Again, I guess there’s a reason we are the only people we saw with a pizza there. It was greasy, floppy, and bland. I also had the fried pickles and those were decent, and I’d get those again.

Air conditioning was really high, and the room was freezing. Waitress was buried and it took far too long to be waited on for our food to come out and to check out. Food was good and portions were generous.

You can never go wrong with Spanky's! I bring a lot of out of town visitors here for spuds and never have a bad time. I almost always go for the blackened shrimp basket with spuds but most recently I wanted to try the pizza. It was a cheese lovers dream come true. The crust was crisped to perfection, sauce was flavorful and just look at that cheesey goodness. One of my favorite spots for pizza in Savannah now and I moved here from New York (and yes I do claim NY has the best pizza!).

I can't believe I have never tried Spankys!! I had pizza from Spankys today and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! We did take out and had three pizzas. They were all nicely portioned and tasty. The cheese pizza was my favorite! Melanie the manager was very kind and friendly! I can't wait to be back and try them in person to be able to get more details! Final Verdict: the food is definitely worth a visit! The prices are also not bad! I will DEFINITELY be back!
