Stafford's Public House

Stafford’s is a bar I’ve been going to for a very long time as someone who is born and raised in Savannah Georgia. Almost all my experiences with Stafford’s has been pleasant but unfortunately there is a specific bartender here (Vince) that is extremely miserable with his life or either he just doesn’t like me and my friends/family when we come in. I don’t think I’ve had 1 good experience with him. He loves to make slick comments but then quickly turn around as if he’s scared of confrontation? Our latest experience was last night when my cousin went up to the bar to order a round of shots for our group. After Vince made the shots my cousin decided to order 1 more for someone we didn’t originally think wanted one. Which he huffed and said “you couldn’t have said that to begin with” which then of course he immediately turns around quickly. We didn’t say anything and still tipped well as always but I simply just don’t understand how doing your job could make you such an angry person. I mean maybe it’s because he’s short and bald? Idk that’s not a problem I personally have to deal with so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt!

Great service here Saturday night. Dont remember her name, but we stopped in for the ghost pub crawl, and she gave us some pointers. She mentioned she had came up our way for a concert a few weeks prior. Super friendly young lady. Greay drink specials and would definitely come back here again.

I miss Joe... The supposed to be manager bartender is racist or don't like me because everything I come in here he's rude for no reason and tonight took the iceing on the cake. I ask the other bartender about how I can reach somebody and they told me that I'm wasn't the only one that has complained about him.

I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a drink and great dance music. The bartender Steve was amazing, we talked to him for 30 mins as he gave us recommendations about places to go and things to see. A great stop with great people!

what i would give to get the bartender’s names! we came for a girl’s trip and found stafford’s. my dear friend was experiencing some home-related troubles at the time of our visit and the staff was compassionate, chill, and attentive. very fair prices too, for being at a high traffic popular area. i noticed darts and a vending machine cigs/vapes too.

they played music that reminded us of our bar back home! and THEN one of the guys played a ukulele singing a last-call song— something one of our teammates does at the bar we work at back home! while leaving, she reluctantly cracked a smile at the shenanigans. i’ll be bringing them back, and will be sending others here. thank you stafford staff!!

great place for dancing and drinks on a Wednesday or a weekend. pool, darts, beer pong. come hang out, we will be there!

Good drinks, good games and good place for social gathering for fun to be had by all!

If I could rate this place less than one star, I would. Bartender was discussing our group with a bald middle aged man at the bar. The things they were saying about us and women in general were absolutely disgusting. Bad service is one thing, but sexually degrading women is on another level of disrespect. I also work in the service industry and would never talk about people in this nature. It's a little dive bar, so it's not like we expected much, but we are out to have a good time. Would not go back to this bar solely based on that. Otherwise, Jell-O shots were good and the bar had a lot of fun activities to keep you entertained.

This place is a dump! The pool tables are trashed. The bartender is dismissive, and can't stop looking at his phone long enough to pay attention to paying customers.
