I have received moldy queso that was not white, but orange in my recent order. I really hope I don't get sick. This is not my only complaint. Previous times the queso was alright but my burrito was somehow cold and did not taste right. I don't mean to compare this location to other but, what ever is wrong needs to be upgraded. Sadly, Surcheros is becoming a huge turn off. I will not purchase from here again. I am very sad.
I wish it was a one time mistake but it is an occurring thing that happens when I purchase from here.

Staff visibly intoxicated. Lots of garbage on tables, every table dirty. Somewhere in the straight line where you walk with them step by step they managed to lose my husbands order and then were not polite or apologetic at all when he asked for his food. “Do you want me to remake it???” Well… yeah I would like to receive the food please, after ordering and paying for it.

The workers are very rude and need to work on greetings. I came in today and ordered a quesadilla and while telling a worker my topping I noticed his female coworker paused prepping sauce cups to give him a really nasty look then she proceeded to look directly in my face to do the same so I asked her what? Then the girl who cashed me out had an attitude. I’ve been going here for years ever since working there in 2023 and it’s just not the same experience.

This place used to be really good. But now all of the servings are super small and what used to be complimentary now costs extra. Employees are rude as well. Totally not worth eating here anymore. Oh well…

The management here is going to run this place into the ground. Mark my words. Surcheros at this location will be going out of business unless something changes with management. We won’t be back until it’s run by someone else.

I don’t know what’s going on with the new management here, but when they start nickel and diming customers, It really makes you realize how much better of a service you get at other similar Tex-mex places. They want to charge $.50 for a tiny side of dressing, want to charge for an extra bowl that I had them separate our order in, not extra food, just an extra bowl, and the manager even wanted to charge us for water. WATER. We love the food there, but we can get a chipotle or Moe’s instead. Very comparable. At least they care about their customers. This management has terrible customer service skills and is actually driving away customers, including our entire family. Hoping that this company changes their gauging of customers:( maybe one day we can go back when management changes…

1st time eating here in several months. My rice was crunchy and the young lady used her gloved hands to put some of the fixings on my burrito and the same gloved hand to carry items in the back without changing. I'm done with this place.

Surcheros is really good and theu have military. They could give you a bigger cup of queso.

Being a customer since 2019, I do not recall Surcheros charging for extra rice and for 2 scoops of guac on a Nacho Bowl. Be wary of this specific location……

Food is always so good but the service makes me never want to come back. Please train your employees before putting them by theirselves. The lack of common sense is absolutely ridiculous.

Disappointing experience.

I stopped here for lunch while trying to stick to my diet and was really disappointed. I ordered a loaded bowl with just protein and no rice. What I received was about half a scoop of chicken, a light sprinkle of lettuce, and a few tomatoes — everything felt barely added, like it was dusted on. The meal alone was $12.

I asked for extra chicken and was given a very small additional scoop, barely more than a side sauce, for $3.50 extra. I added a drink for $2.70, plus tax and tip, bringing the total to $22.39.

For that price, the portion — especially the protein — was absolutely not worth it. When you’re dieting, you really notice portion sizes and value, and this just didn’t deliver.

I left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed, and honestly wish I had gone somewhere else.

First time visiting and will be the last. Employees were rude and unfriendly. Out of multiple items. I told them the salsa was empty and they just said ok. Did not make any attempt to refill it. Trash cans were overflowing. Food was mid at best. Crazy overpriced for what I got and the service.
