I used to rave about this place, but my recent experiences have been nothing short of disappointing. The quality of their burritos has sharply declined. The once-fresh ingredients now taste bland and lack the vibrant flavors that made them stand out. The rice is often overcooked, and the meats seem dry and unseasoned.
Moreover, the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. I remember when a burrito would be packed to the brim with all the delicious toppings, but lately, it feels like they’re skimping on everything. It’s frustrating to pay the same price for a significantly lesser product.
To add insult to injury, the service has become increasingly curt and unwelcoming. The staff seems overwhelmed and uninterested in providing a positive dining experience. While I understand that busy times can be stressful, a little friendliness and attentiveness go a long way in the restaurant industry.
It has seen a troubling decline in both food quality and customer service. I truly hope they can address these issues and return to their former excellence, but for now, I can’t recommend them, and won’t be coming back until the customer service and food get exponentially better.

The manager was nice but their catering is ridiculous! I do not normally review things online but this was insane. The amount of protein they gave me for a taco bar for 10
Was absurd. She says they have to measure it out. 1.4lbs of chicken for 10 people??? I paid $15 a person plus $2 for each for rice and beans which is a free option in store? So $18 a person with tax for two tiny tacos each???? I can get regular tacos in store for $3.99 a piece. Why on earth would I be paying double to take it home? An absolute rip off and I will never spend my money here again.

I used to love this place but because of the new hours, I can never get it. Rip favorite burrito spot.
Who in the their right mind closes a popular spot like this at 3pm. I drove 30 minutes out of the way to come here for dinner because my girlfriend loves it. Says they are open till 10pm online. And they aren’t even open on Saturday or Sunday. Down right ridiculous. Who ever owns this store needs to sell it to a competent owner.

I have loved Surcheros since they first touched down in Savannah...my every Tuesday lunch and dinner restaurant. About 6 months ago, I stopped going as much because the food and service had gotten to be sub par. I tried again a few months later and still the same. Fast forward to today. I ordered my normal chicken nachos for lunch and my chicken burrito bowl for dinner. I don't know what's going on, but the chicken is in much larger pieces, dry and has no seasoning. They were out of cilantro and queso...what is a nacho without queso, at least and the chips were half crispy and half stale with no seasoning. You could see trash and food on the floor. The young man who cashed me out, apologized, but I think I'm going to take another hiatus from my every Tuesday spot. Maybe I'll try Moe's 🤷🏿♀️

Used to be good but every time I go in they have sooo many new people which makes the food different every time. Training needs to be better because the newbies are making it horrible… used to be my favorite. Have to try the one in rincon now
Update: decided to give them another chance. This time I could tell that everyone was equipped for the job. Unfortunately when I took my bite of burrito the rice is brick hard. Which is sad because I actually like them better than chipotle. But back to chipotle I go. And the chip are stale!!!!
I went in on 10/6/2024 to get something before heading to work. I stood waiting for some to assistant for what felt like forever.(This isn't the first time this has happen) The last time it happen I stopped visiting for months. Finally the young lady said she would help me in just a minute. Next thing I know she was on her phone and was getting ready to leave out the door. She never came back to help me but had the nerve to look at me like she didn't do anything wrong.Of course by this time I annoyed with the customer service that was being given. I'm sure at this point anyone that care to look at me could see just how annoyed I was. The problem here is there was nobody supervising the young people. Everything was nasty. Food was everywhere. It was a hot mess. As much as I enjoy the food I will not be back anytime soon.

Fully staffed. However, extremely slow and dirty. 3 customers in there, including myself. I was greeted nicely but the person taking my order had no clue what the menu items included. I said I'd like the Surcheros Tacos with the flour tortillas. He grabbed the flour tortilla i said how many does it include. He replies 'I dont know, i looked at him and asked again, he again said he didnt know, the lead was standing next to him (she was the only one with a name tag and it said Lead) he just looked at her and didnt ask her...then asked what else I wanted I said nothing he said ok so you want just a burrito... I felt like I was in the twilight zone! I said no only the Surcheros Tacos with flour tortillas. He looked at me perplexed. He then put the flour tortilla away and grabbed the hard shells. At that point I should have left! But I didn't and just said...ok I'm having hard shells...he then tries to put the meat in the shells...the lead said no grabbed the foil and finally showed him something! Then she put the rest of the toppings..the counter had food everywhere...she closed the lid and there were 2 customers checking out....omy omy...it took 15 minutes for me to finally pay!! My food was cold at this point!!! It was no fault of the other customers. The employee that was checking out was walking slowly around the line...doing nothing. The other customers were annoyed also. 1 employee was getting off and literally took her shirt off to her workout bra...I and the others just looked at each other!!! Then checking out... your asking for a tip...whatttttt...WOW! I got to the area of drinks and salsa..a mess! Got what i needed and left! Came home reheated my Tacos. Flavor was good as it always is from there. However, I won't go back! Bad bad! A shame a place I fully staffed so no one is over worked but they take advantage of that and are...I'm sorry lazy and not training new employees.

Used to be really good.. the workers get so lazy with online orders! I was missing a drink and half of my toppings. Haven’t had a good order since April

Used to be a great place. For the past 3 orders over the last few weeks I've decided to never give them my money again. Either the order is wrong, quality is bad, portion size is ridiculously small, or takes WAY too long. Not sure if under new management or owner, but either way... I'm done.
Food was great, and customer service was great as well! The young woman at the register was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be visiting again!

I always order from you guys. Today me and my coworker order food, he gets back to work with our food which we ordered two 12 inch burritos they are smaller than my hand.. we work at the hospital we cannot leave our patients and go on a second lunch to return and get the correct order. When i called said location they said yeah it’s smaller or bigger based on which you ordered to which I explained I get the same thing everytime and it’s never been 5 inches long.. for a 12 inch burrito she said well the portion also changes based on who makes it and I’ve worked in a restaurant since I was 16 .. and for 8 years. we don’t change the portion of customer fajitas just because it’s a different cook… I asked for either a refund or just a credit for a different time I eat there she said no and I said I just don’t understand I come there all the time and never have this issue and she said hold on I’ll contact our GM, comes back and said yeah our GM said we will not be issuing you a refund. I don’t know who else to contact but this is ridiculous and horrible customer service. Never experience this before. Not only that the other coworker ordered a quesadilla with a side of pinto beans .. no beans to be found and it was a kids meals that comes with a dessert which wasn’t in there also, AND the inside of the quesadilla was wrong.
Understand maybe one order being messed up but this is ridiculous.
Three very very dissatisfied customers not only with our food but how the manager along with the GM she said she spoke with said yeah no nothing we can do y’all can’t get a refund. On top of everything she said the GM said everyone is going through a restraining already for portion sizing, so if you know it’s an issue already and I’m telling g you I got a literal 4 inch burrito but will not refund us or anything …

I was treated with outstanding customer service. Now a days, you don’t get friendly staff with good attitudes anymore. Well, the employees at 8108 Abercorn St. did just that.
