Location was perfect . Food was good, service was ok and atmosphere was also ok. We had a party of 5. Upon being seated, the chair was wet, only to be wiped down upon making the staff aware. However, it was still wet, since it was wiped down with a wet rag. When waiting for it to dry, it seemed the staff was annoyed (we instantly felt bad), and switched chairs-which seemed to upset them even more. The staff was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. The sushi was amazing and a different spin on what is normally offered. I mean where else could I get an eel roll stuffed into the tube of a squid that was grilled. This joint is just great!!

We ordered the original sake.

Amazingly light appetizer, Jalapeno 6 piece. Sliced fish with jalapeño tobiko with Wasabi yazu sauce.

Then ordered an amazing "Black Angel Roll", shrimp, avocado, pepper tuna, tobiko, scallions with spicy mayo, eel and Wasabi sauce.

Finished with green tea ice cream treat

Kid-friendliness: Well appointed, easy aisles, family booths.
