I came here with my wife on a two-day business trip. For me, outside of the 8–6 work grind, good drinks are the only real relief. We tried five bars in two days, and this one was easily the best. The atmosphere, drink quality, pricing, and service all deserve top marks. Big shout-out to the owner, Grayfel, and the bartender, Joshua (sorry if I misspelled your names) — both were incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome.

Wow… hard to describe. The owner was loudly and aggressively speaking to the bartender about another employee who he was going to fire due to attendance issues. This banter went on for 10-15 minutes and was inappropriate to have echoing with customers hearing every word. Management 101- keep these conversations quiet and private. Don’t air your dirty laundry with paying customers close by. We literally could not relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The owner ruined it with his incessant ramblings and holding court that he is the boss. The bartender was a nice young man trying to stick up for his fellow employee and the whole thing just got out of hand. I asked the owner if he could try to take it down a notch and lighten the mood for all patrons sake. He did not like it and told us to leave and to close out our tab. He did us a favor. We came to St. Neos - relaxing, pleasant, upscale and high quality food and drinks. Skip tandem spirits if little napoleon is sitting in the back area barking orders. The bartender there was terrific and should find a better place to work.

Rude staff and horrible experience. Avoid if possible and extremely odd bar tender interactions with those on the stools. Avoid even if staying at the hotel.
We came in for drinks twice. Both times the bartenders were preoccupied with talking to their mates. They weren't particularly friendly or welcoming, and the bar is pretty nondescript, so I can't say we'd stop in again, even if we were staying in the beautiful East Bay Inn, which they are attached to.
