Had the house shrimp enchiladas with tomatillo cream sauce and beef chimichanga. The chimichangas were terrible, as if frozen and fried (definitely not homemade) and no flavor. Shared the shrimp enchiladas which were ok, nothing to brag about because chimichangas were flavorless. When ask for bill, received it quickly enough, then the server disappeared. Had to go to bar to try to check out and was not acknowledged. The server then came by and apologized and said he was rolling silverware. Definitely a poor experience and will never go back.

We discovered tequila’s town Mexican restaurant during a visit last year. A year ago the food was excellent, service very friendly and attentive, and we had a positive experience. We visited again last night. The food was outstanding! My summer peach margarita was perfect! I highly recommend this authentic Mexican cuisine!

This was my first visit to Tequila Town with the Brownies. I have a feeling it won't be my last. My first impression was the layout of the restaurant - wide and spacious with a high ceiling. The seating was a bit close with other diners, but I didn't feel as claustrophobic. Our waitress, Cristina, was good - a bit on the serious side, but very efficient and fast. We didn't have to ask for refills or for plates to be removed from the table.
Now, on to the food. I had the Carnitas Michoacan. The carnitas were a little salty but flavorful. I really appreciated that they weren't greasy. I would have really liked it if it was served in chunks of meat with some salsa verde on the side. Otherwise, it felt more like I was eating pulled pork. The refried beans were standard - thick, creamy, and topped with queso. There was also a very nice, sufficient portion of house salad served with the meal. All of the ingredients were fresh and served in a separate bowl. I liked this because salad served on the same hot plate as the entree isn't very appetizing.
Two of the Brownies had the Arroz Mexicana - large bowls of the rice of your choice, topped with the protein of your choice, perfectly grilled vegetables, and topped with a healthy portion of queso dip. Both declared it to be delicious.
Lord Manfred Brownie had the steak nachos - speaks for itself - a generous portion of nachos, loaded with straps of steak, grilled vegetables, lettuce, and queso. He's a growing young man with a lot of growing to do - and he still needed a take-out box!
Let's not forget the horchata perfectly creamy and sweet and loaded with cinnamon.
All said, we had a great time. I would like to return on a day and time where it's not so loud and crowded.

Nothing to say. We were a party of 20 and I had to leave. I saw a lot of foot traffic so the food must have been awesome. Me and my wife will go during the week so I will re look at it later.
