This restaurant was so warm and inviting. The staff were amazing. My friend, who has multiple food allergies was able to really enjoy her burger with a gluten free bun. My philly cheese steak was delicious. The veggies on it were cooked to perfection. We also had an infant with us and they were kind enough to bring a container of hot water to heat the bottle and had a changing table in the restroom. They even had a place to safely sit the baby's car seat. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I have been here 4 times since we moved a couple months ago and it has been amazing all the time! We have had an excellent experience! So yummy! 😋 Can’t wait to try the whole menu!

Ok food and slower than average Saturday service
I had an extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience at The 5 Spot Midtown – Neighborhood Kitchen & Bar.
I walked in simply to eat because I was already in the area. Unbeknownst to me, an employee who happens to be my ex was working at the time. She immediately questioned why I was there. I calmly explained that I just wanted to eat and offered to sit somewhere out of her way or avoid any interaction entirely. I made it clear I had no intention of speaking to her and just wanted to enjoy a meal and leave.
Despite this, management sided with her discomfort and asked me to leave the restaurant altogether. I even spoke with someone above her, but was told that if she felt uncomfortable with my presence—despite no wrongdoing on my part—I would not be allowed to stay. I was then escorted out.
This was a serious lapse in professionalism and judgment. I was a paying customer who behaved respectfully and posed no issue, yet was treated as if I had done something wrong. Personal matters should never interfere with how customers are treated, and this situation was handled very poorly.
Out of all the Five Spot locations, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I would not recommend this location if you expect fair and professional treatment.
