I chose this Marriott for an overnight stay when bringing my child back to college. I have previously stayed downtown when visiting but was getting tired of the exorbitant parking fees and higher room rates. This property is pretty rundown and there is absolutely no signage on the outside of the building making me question if I was even at the right location. The deadbolt on my room door was not working and I had to request to be moved. The front desk personnel accommodated my request with very limited hospitality and seemed annoyed when I questioned why the bistro was not open when the sign at the desk indicated the hours were 5-9pm Monday-Friday. I was told they were short staffed and had low occupancy that night which was why the bistro wasn't open. I was then moved to a room that smelled incredibly musty and stale. Good thing I checked the slider because that was left unlocked. In the morning I found out the only water temp was scalding hot. There was no cold water at the sink either. In the future I'll be staying downtown.

Love love love this new food option on the Eastside. Everything we have tried has been excellent. Service is always great and super friendly and the vibe in this place is amazing. Love supporting this woman out here making her own way!! And definitely can't wait to try the oysters on her Wednesday Karaoke night!!

I stayed here for over 2 months and loved it. The entire staff became family. Caroline, Barbara, Deloris, Angela and assistant manager Ashley were always helpful. The entire front desk staff made each day blissful. I am new to Savannah and this place was convenient to everything. I would highly recommend it.

The room had a terrible odor. The carpet was stained and felt moist. As soon as I walked in the room the odor hit me in the face. I had to kill a roache as soon as I got in the room.

The courtyard concept dates back a bit. And Marriott built them big. There's lots of competition nearby. Property is set back from the road and is really quiet. This one has a pool in the courtyard and fortunately, the elevator in the middle of the wing. The front desk staff were great, warm and friendly, as were the Bistro staff and manager. The wine selection was good, and Starbucks coffee rules in the morning! Notable that the breakfast and bistro food choices were limited compared to other Courtyard locations, so we DoorDashed for dinner. The lobby and rooms have been updated furniture-wise, as has all the carpeting. Our room had a large fridge and microwave. The basic structure is old and a bit tired. The bathroom tile looks like it's from the 90s. But everything works. Prices are at the lower end of the Bonvoy range, so it's perfect for a short stay.

I spend 3/4 of the year in hotels. all I want is an easy check in and a bed. today I was greeted by two women. I wish I remembered their names. they were very nice and welcoming and made my check in a breeze. super clean room. I recommend

Average at best. Check in was easy. But I called and asked for two blankets it took 45 min for that. I asked if they has had lotion and bottled water they said sorry no. If you need a spot for just sleep it's okay, if you're expecting typical Marriott experience, it's very underwhelming. For $200+/night you'd expect better.

Quick get away! Always looking for a great deal and I found that with Marriott. If you don't have the app please download Marriott Bonvoy. Again this was a very quick get away that was much needed. We enjoyed a very nice dinner, Country Boil, with friends. Prior to leaving for dinner, I called guest services to schedule room service . Well room service wasn't what I expected. They replaced the towels but did not change the linen. Why? I have no idea. If you're replacing the towels, why not the linens? It's all together. I understand COVID is still here and I understand why you have to schedule housekeeping but clean the entire room. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom. Since we are here 2 nights, I let it go but I wanted to make a note of it here. The interior of the Hotel is nice as expected. The lobby area is clean well maintained. The front desk staff was polite and friendly. The location of this Hotel is on one of the main thoroughfares in Savannah off Abercorn Street. Easy access... There was a disturbance about 2AM where the Savannah PD was knocking on doors asking if we have children??. My husband told him no. About an hour later they were knocking again asking if we have children. I got up and told him no! And that that was the 2nd time they have been to our room. He apologized and went on to the next door. Apparently someone complained about kids running around. We never got clarity on it but something was going on about kids . There was also a disturbance of a group of girls laughing and talking loud at 2AM. I told the officer they should be checking on those girls for disturbing us. I mean it's 2AM! I gave 4 due to housekeeping and the disturbance at 2AM. Other than that it was a nice stay.

By no means is this hotel fancy however it is a pretty decent location outside of the historic district. It took us about 15 mins to travel to the downtown area. We pretty much just laid our heads down at night. The lobby is clean. You have to call if you want housekeeping. No noise and the rooms are clean. Parking is limited..if you come back to the hotel late it is hard to find parking..but they do let you park by the curb outside the lobby.

If your not up by 930am you CANT USE the restaurant, the room was never cleaned, found a TV remote covered in dust BEHIND my bed as well as blood on a pillow case that wasn't mine, wasted about an incidental charge of $20.00 per day plus $7.00 a day parking, I used 4 but got charged for all 7 days. I will never stay at this hotel again.

This not a restaurant! It's a hotel dining commons! FAIL!
